Nice hostel, very big beds, I was worried about the reviews saying it was very cold, but personally I didn’t have that problem. Biggest problem was the roosters outside who like to crow all night, like 12-8am. There were earplugs provided which I didn’t use because I didn’t realize I would need them, so those might work for other travelers. Beds and room were very clean, I really liked the curtains, it added nice privacy. The bathrooms were a little humid, but otherwise very clean.
it’s a place to sleep. beds are clean. not a social place at all. Halls are humid with no A/C including the shower areas which makes it almost pointless to shower. fine if you’re on a budget but really not a vacation spot to enjoy.
24/7 front desk that functions as a check in for multiple locations and there were a lot of people who passed through who were not staying at the hostel. Security was not great. There was a keypad lock on the external door into the hostel, but the rooms were never locked as we didn't get any keys for them. Anyone walking through the front door to check in could in theory walk up the stairs right into your room. The lockers were tiny & would only hold a carry-on with a super small breakable lock.
Absolutely love this place! Such a great great hostel! Just amazing. Only complaint is that the A/C is always set very low and can get quite cold. Thanks for providing the girls with such a great experience and place to stay
This was a good location, close to the plaza, beach, bodega and little food truck area across the street. The water pressure was non existent and barely hot water. It could have been a lot cleaner, but the bed was very comfortable and big. Everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. It was conveniently located and I’ll still go back for the price.
My stay had a few issues. The bed assigned to me was not prepared and appeared used, which another guest pointed out. I was moved to a different bed, but the outlet and nightlight there didn’t work, so I couldn’t charge my phone. There was also no toilet paper available early in the morning. I did report some issues during my stay, but not all of them at the time as I didn’t want to cause repeated inconvenience. Overall, it affected my experience.
The staff is amazing.
Nice place, a bit too expensive for what you get. But great black out curtains and privacy. The beds are big which is nice but not pushed into a corner so you can only sleep in the middle of the bed. Good, would stay there again but also wish there were some better communal spaces!
Very nice stay. Great location! Really only slept in the hostel but it was clean and comfortable! Easy walking to OSJ and the beach.
The water pressure in the shower is almost non existent. Also, none of the doors to the room close quietly, they have to be pushed/pulled closed and they are loud, waking up people.
Super good, I would only lower the air conditioning a little, the rooms are very cold at night and I got a cold on the 2nd day, apart from that super location and safety for solo travelers, in front of it there is a super nice local dinner stand :)
Good value for money and good location. Staff was alright and it was clean enough. Shared showered and toilets but lots of them so it worked well. The beds were big and comfortable.
Showers were extremely dirty with hair, sand and other stuff everywhere. Beds were nice with curtains, but there were old gum and just dirty on my bed side shelf. There are lockers in the room which is nice, but my locker accidentally got emptied by cleaning while I was away for the day. Lost some clothes as the couldn’t find it afterwards.
They brand themselves as a Womens hostel and in my two days there I saw multiple men check in. I didn’t see them in my dorm so maybe they were renting privates, but either way you can’t brand yourself as a strictly Womens hostel if it’s just not. The lobby is fancy but the cleanliness upstairs is subpar. The rooms and beds felt a little gross, and there’s plastic under the sheets that’s so crinkly it’s hard to sleep. Also noisiest hostel I’ve ever stayed in- I barely slept. Showers...
This was a fantastic hostel. Clean bed, locker with a lock, and very friendly staff. I would stay here again!
The hostel is so Nice, clean and the staff is amazing!! 100% good vibe and good time!!
The best women-only hostel ive stayed at, and the women were so friendly i never felt safer!
Good location, 25 minute walk to Old San Juan. 15 minute walk to good beach. Pack warm sleeping clothes because the room is freezing and you’re given no blanket. Staff is rude but so is all women in PR. Facilities are very disgusting, toilets are often clogged and make both bathrooms reek, showers are hardly cleaned and have no water pressure and you have to wait 5 minutes for warm water, mosquitoes are absolutely terrible in the bathrooms and private rooms if anyone leaves the door open.
I loveddd the location and the different amenities that were offered. It was only about a 20 minute walk to old San Juan and Ubers from this location were very cheap to different beaches. However, the only thing I would change would be the cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms and note there is a bar across the street that plays music until about 2 AM. For the price I would stay here again.!
Very nice receptionist(s) and a quick Uber/walk to everything. I didn’t find the space to be particularly inviting or social. Just FYI
