- Hôtel à fuir absolument !!! Nous sommes finalement partis ailleurs. Très très sale, extrêmement inconfortable. On dort sur des cartons… Très bruyant, avec une fenêtre mal isolée. Les photos parlent d’elles-mêmes. Seul point positif : le personnel est gentil.
+ Sono stato solo 2 giorni al New Alsalam Hotel. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo è ottimo in questo hotel. L'edificio è desueto, old style, che per un tipo di viaggio low budget va più che bene. .L'ubicazione è in una zona centralissima, vicino all'entrata del sito UNESCO del Tempio di Luxor; lo staff è stato discreto, disponibile e gentile, mi hanno anche aiutato con un tour per i West Bank a un prezzo davvero comodo..Avevo il bus per Il Cairo alle 23:30 così mi hanno fatto stare il secondo giorno a un prezzo scontato, mi hanno offerto il tè e salutato con affetto. A little hard to find. One block off main street in narrow streets. Once settled in, I talked to the owner about sites to see and wanting to go back to Cairo through the White/Black desert rather than by overnight train. One of his associates has drove that route multiple times and offered to move me to his other hotel on West Bank for same price. Negotiated with driver for 3 day drive and joined 4x4 group for desert camp. More temples and ruins. It wasn't cheap as it was a private driver.
This hostel was everything I needed. A little rough around the edges but fantastic for the price and provides everything that you need. It’s within walking distance to major sites like the Luxor and Karnak temples which made organizing my itinerary really convenient. The main highlight were the staff, who were very kind. Ash and, Salah, especially, were really helpful and helped me get whatever I needed, even organizing the Luxor balloons and Valley of the kings for a very reasonable price

had a great experience. Salah was very helpful and provided the best prices for taxis and excursions. actually, i forgot my watch the day i went to aswan, and him and his team were extremely helpful in getting it back to me. they delivered it right to my hostel in aswan. they really went above and beyond and i appreciate them!

+ La camera è molto spartana e la manutenzione non la vede da anni. Il proprietario e l’addetto che ci ha accolto sono molto gentili. Prezzo.
- I servizi erano luridi, l’intera stanza ha un dito di polvere ovunque. La doccia inutilizzabile è anche se funzionasse ci vorrebbe molto coraggio a poggiare i piedi sul pavimento.
The owner made everything so easy for me. He organised a driver for the full day for Valley of the kings and the other sites on the east bank for a really fair price. Whenever I wanted to go anywhere else during the day trip I would just text the driver 20 mins before leaving. I even accidentally took his keys by mistake one day and which caused his a lot of hassle and he was so chill about it. Would recommend

+ The owners are really nice, and kept my backpack before and after the check out. The location is very good.
- Well, this place is rough... The noise from the street makes it impossible to sleep, at all. The hot water in the shower is enough to wet the skin but not to shower thoroughly. The bed and the pillow is very (extremely) hard. The place is old, and the building is old - but it's not my complain considering the price.
Prima hostel met vriendelijk personeel. Hostel ligt centraal, en op loopafstand van restaurantjes en Luxor Temple. kamers waren prima, alleen een beetje krap, en geen plek om je tas veilig neer te zetten.
The owner is the funniest I've come across and such a nice and kind man. As a backpacker I found the place to be totally worth it, comfortable beds, decent washrooms and very affordable tours. They also have a nice terrace to chill in the evening. The best part is the location of this hostel is just 5 mins walking from luxor temple.
This is not a hostel . When it come you’ll feel it . Very strange place
Unsafe and unprofessional hostel. Staff initially refused to return my passport and check in took over an hour due to aggressive tour selling. Breakfast quality and hygiene were poor. A serious fire broke out at night caused by staff smoking on the rooftop. No instructions were given in English and guests were left scared. Emergency services arrived late and staff and neighbors threatened guests for filming. No apology was given and services were cut the next day. Avoid this place.
+ Ничего особенного, но и плохого ничего не могу сказать. Хороший вариант для ночевки и просмотра достопримечательностей, коих в Луксоре валом
