This was an amazing place to stay, I extended two times. Staff are always there to help and the location is amazing! Definitely recommend
Elephant Boutique is a quaint, locally owned hostel that is clean, comfortable, and really comfortable beds. The staff was super helpful for helping us route our next destination and tours in Luang Prabang. Kyle and Na were amazing at reception!!! Perfect if you’re looking to avoid party hostels and just need somewhere clean and comfortable to stay while in LP, Laos.
I stayed here for one night in a private. The bed was very comfy and the staff were so nice.
Not recommendable. Dirty bedsheets and the AC didn't work at all, so it was always around 30 degrees in the room. When we arrived, they tried to over charge us by over 200,000 kip for 2 nights and then still took 70k too much as they gave us a bad rate from USD to kip. Breakfast ends at 9 already. Other than that, the room was spacious and the shower was seperated from the bathroom, and the location was decent. Not worth the money at all though!
The staff were nice and the location was good as it was close to the centre but still fairly quiet at night, but overall this hotel wasn’t the nicest. There weren’t any ‘facilities’ besides a seating area outside and the rooms weren’t great. The bathroom was dirty and a ‘splash room’ so everything got wet when you had a shower. The room was OK with a comfy bed and they provide towels. They tried to over charge us as they didn’t take into account the hostel world deposit, so watch...
central position, not very cheap as we asked for a third night and they wanted more then what Was published on booking but we accepted anyway cause It Was a festival evening. our bathroom had some problems. anyway they were really kind to lock our scooter.
It is a nice little family run place- the staff are very friendly. They leave the doors open which is good if you come in late but if others feel worried about safety then maybe better to be on first floor. Can hear noise if you’re on the ground floor as the rooms are right in reception but good value for the space. Bed is okay and can walk to local restaurants. Not the closest to attractions but would stay again.
The whole stay was a terrible experience. We turned up to check in and were over charged by around $20. When we went down to query it, the owners got funny about it and refunded us the money but turns out it was still wrong and we were still overcharged by about $10. The room was dirty. We had no water from the tap or shower one morning. We were also told 2 days into our stay that we had to move into another room there and then because they put us in the wrong one.
Staff tried to overcharge me by ~$5-10 USD a night during check in. Overall good stay and helpful staff
10/10 would stay here again. Close to market and a temples. Walk to anyplace really. Rent scooter right there for cheap.
After a 2-days trekking I needed a private room to relax. This hotel was perfect for it. Rose was very friendly and the room was nice and clean.
