Kapsula Hotel

Everything good... comfortable beds and location next to a shopping mall and bus stop... good value for the money... only issue I had is the hotel charged me an extra fee...half the daily rate for an early check in...I arrived in on a late flight... there were empty beds also...

Decent place. The capsules are comfy and well equipped. The wxperience could be so much better if it wasn't for the apathetic if not rude staff, who doesn't speak a word of English. when i checked in at first they tried to tell me that i have the wrong adress and later asked me to pay only to show me the door right away because it was before check-in time. On top of these, the next day they confiscated my Beer from the fridge although there is nowhere mentioned that they don't allow alcohol.

OVERBOOKING. I dropped my bag off in the morning and asked if it was ok to check in that evening, they said it was ok. Arrived in the evening, was told that the room was full. The only other option was the deluxe room for 12000 tenge more. Thanks to the lovely lady at reception, I managed to stay in the deluxe room for no additional charge. No idea what I would have done otherwise. Hostel location ok, facilities ok. Beware overbooking.

Not the cleanest and a lack of vibe

1. Bugs: The deluxe room (basically a private room) had notes and other bugs crawling along the wall and bed. 2. Bathrooms: average cleanliness, better to go early or late. The toilet exhaust is not very strong

The bathrooms were not very clean. The staff were okay. The location is good but not perfect. The beds are spacious, but the light on my bed wasn't working. Additionally, the beds don't have outlets for charging phones, so I had to leave my phone charging on the room's wall outlet, which made me uncomfortable as anyone could easily take it

The hostel was kinda hard to find in number 7/3, as it's located in a residential complex between 2 bigger streets. From outside it looks.. not so welcoming tbh. The guy at the reception was super friendly and I could already check in at 11 am.. And I booked for the wrong day. No problem, he cancelled and directly have me a free capaula for just 5000 tenge! I pretty much liked sleeping in the capsula, much better than in a dorm room actually! It's more quiet and feels more private and cosy...

Great hostel located next to a mall and about a 30 minute walk to monuments. Most of the people staying here are Kazakh so not the best if you want to meet other travelers. Otherwise everything was very clean and everyone was very nice.

I really liked the place: privacy from the pods; clean restroom, communal kitchen, and dinning/living area; an amazing group of central Asian friends if you're patient with a translator app; and a nearby and shopping center with an ATM and many restaurants and cafes (also a huge psychedelic ferris wheel and park). The big thing is getting there so go to the tourist info at airport after a getting a sim nearby, get the local nav app for bus routes, take the number 10 (may change, 20min walk then)
