Manila-Z-Hostel

Very nice hostel with very nice staff, especially the volunteers are really fun!Amazing rooftop bar with a fantastic view. I was allowed to stow my bags for several days before I even checked in. Curtains on the beds would be nice though.

The rooftop bar felt dead when I was there. The room was very hot, moist, and a bit smelly. There are no curtains which is a big no for me. The shower pressure was really bad but the hot water was great! The staff are super nice and the downstairs cafe has excellent coffee. You can’t really sleep peacefully because of loud music from neighboring clubs/ bars/ / hostel. The location is good.

Nice hostel, small games room with nice rooftop bar. Not overly social but it was ok. No curtains for beds is a downside.

I stayed in a private room but there are no plug points near or around the bed. That was an inconvenience.

This hostel has the best bum gun (bidet) I have experienced in all of South East Asia. The pressure was just right for my youthful and inexperienced English bunda.... The volunteers (shout out Andre😜, Gwen and Maddie) really make the hostel what it is. They create a really good atmosphere and are helpful if you require any info. The walking tour was extremely insightful, and I feel the girls could have a career on national geographic if the hostel work doesn't work out

Das Z-Hostel war eines der besten Hostels die ich auf den Philippinen besucht habe. Die rooftop bar ist das absolute Highlight, die man als Außenstehender aber auch besuchen kann. Das Hostel selbst ist sauber und sicher. Gutes Frühstück ist sogar inklusive! Die Mitarbeiter Maddie, Gwen und André haben für die beste Atmosphäre gesorgt, die man sich vorstellen kann. Alle sind so herzlich und offen. Maddie hat immer wieder dafür gesorgt einfach ins Gespräch mit anderen Reisenden zu kommen. ...

I would not return here, booked a private room, we were put on the 6th floor, could not sleep all night as there was music blasting on the rooftop. If you want to party and get no sleep this place may be good for you, but if you’re wanting a good night sleep don’t stay here!

The z hostel was amazing! All the staff and the volunteers were incredible and made the experience for a solo traveller like me much more enjoyable! Thanks so much🤟🏼

Andrei and Maddie is the sweetest most amazing person ever she made me feel so welcomed the moment i stepped in the hostel!

The breakfast was amazing and one of the best parts of the stay. Just a small suggestion: if beds are available 1–2 hours before check-in, allowing early(1-2 Hour) give check-inwiythout any charges would be very helpful. Overall, I really enjoyed my time here.nice location and very good the value of money.

Comfy and clean hostel with everything you need. A very cool rooftop bar and activities every day and night. The staff and volunteers are super nice. A bit pricey but would still recommend.

I had a great time at the Z Hostel! the rooms are spacious and clean. I also took the walking tour which was amazing and very fun to be at, perfect to make friends quickly. The best thing definitely was the volunteers who play a big role in making you feel at home and have a good time, big thanks to Maddie, Andrei and Ryan they were amazing!!

good value hostel. Makati is a nice area (a bit far from intramuros tho)... the included buffet breakfast is epic... very nice common areas and nice staff. Dorm was perfect

Great Hostel located in the heart of the action in Manila. Just outside the hostel there are plenty of restaurants and bars for entertainment. The staff was very accommodating and always pleasant. Had the pleasure of meeting a lot of the staff and enjoying nights on the terrace. Maddie was one our favorite employees very helpful giving local advice on places to eat and visit in Manila!

Mistake on my end, It's not an hostel for me. If you want to rest or meet people in a chill ambiance, pass. If you want to party, maybe it will be your thing. Pros : - Well placed if you want to party - Good bed (But will you be able to sleep here?) Cons : - You will have to wait 4AM to rest here. The entire suburb do parties. The Mad monkey hostel is nearby and will shout musics until 3/4AM. - AC is stupidly cold, you can lower it, but cross your finger that someone coming back drunk at 4 wi...
