Cute hotel with a pool and easy to get to from the public ferry. Try and ask a room with a river view as it’s beautiful. Also the sunset cruise was stunning. I would recommend hiring a bike. Overall good location and clean hotel plus breakfast.
Fantastic location on the quieter West Bank of the Nile River. Fantastic location overlooking the river. Large room with private balcony and generous ensuite. Breakfast was extensive and nothing too much trouble. Friendly, hones staff who helped with everything. The swimming pool was super. Islam was amazing helping organise all of our trips at a good price and everything worked wonderfully. Definitely recommend staying here it was very safe and welcoming. Hope to return soon.
All of hoteliers were so kind and honest for guests. I'd like to recommend this hotel located the west bank and you can see wonderful scenery in the river, especially at night.
Such an amazing place to stay! With beautiful, clean rooms, very kind staff, good food, nice swimming pool and a sweet and welcoming ambiance overall. The location is in a chill, peaceful part of Luxor, next to the Nile, with nice shops around. Thank you!
Great Pool and nice rooms. The restaurant is okay.
Our stay at El Mesala was very positive! We would highly recommend talking to the staff about opportunities and experiences and the best way to go about doing them. They were super helpful and booked our experiences for us at a very good rate. All of the staff were super friendly and there is a great view of the river nile along with a very inviting swimming pool! Thank you for such a nice time and making us feel so welcome!!!
these guys are the best: great location, minutes walk to the public ferry and feluccas right out front; the pool is a welcome respite after a day's sight seeing; the pool table provides a good excuse to just hang out. Osama will set you up, and then drive you there.
A fabulous hotel on the mellow East Bank away from the chaotic West Bank... wonderful staff who are always helpful... with Nile River views this is the location to stay at.
Wouldn’t recommend. Breakfast was basic with no options. Room wasn’t very clean — ants and flies everywhere. Staff were unfriendly and I felt stared at the whole time. Power went out during my stay. Laundry was a rip-off: they tried to charge 600 EGP for one bag, while I paid only 5 EGP at another hostel and $14 CAD in Malta. Overall, the place felt uncomfortable and poorly managed. The only positive was the location, but that wasn’t enough to make up for the rest.
Great place with great view
Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience. Amazing facilities and location. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend this hotel where you can get more than you expect. Beautiful view from the to roof.
Verh helpful and friendly staff. They want to help you with evenrything that you can think of (tours, cleaning, carrying bags, driving you to ATM, etc.). Good location on the calmer West bank, 200 meters walk to the ferry that goes 24/7 and is very cheap. Breakfast is included and very good! Overall a good experience!
These guys were great. cheerful. candid. sincere. smiley. cheeky. yet trustworthy. I liked them all! a lush location on terms of access and view. A decent little pool. Access to ferry's and taxis and the Nile and all of Luxors incredible attractions all easy as can be. a pool table too if you like that plus character and the best wall street-art mural alongside it I think I've ever seen. wow. special the mural on its side. bravo guys. maybe see you again sometime . stay cool. keep it real.
Had a good time here. The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was excellent, on the West Bank opposite the temple. Good for some rest and relaxation if you are a solo traveller.
Location is near to the touristic spot but other side of the bus stop. Hotel is well- maintained (not very fancy though). Good price wise.
Had to cancel booking and there was no option to do so on the website and the staff never replied to my emails or phone calls
Great location overlooking the Nile on the West Bank. The public ferry is a 2 minute walk. Breakfast is plentiful and the staff are really helpful with organizing tours at competitive prices. Would recommend staying here.
Tours can mostly be booked through hotels and the tour in the king's valley is overpriced for a guide that does not show much and can't properly speak English.
