Lakeside Hostel Downtown

JUST AVOID AVOID AVOID - This “hostel” is actually a cramped two-bedroom apartment housing up to 16 people living short/long term. It has basic sharing facilities, limited bathrooms, poor hygiene from some guests people just walking around & doing whatever they want in you personal space, overcrowding of rooms & long lift waits to get the up & down being located on the 16th floor and inconvenient transport to get anywhere around town bus then Metro. Overall - UNCOMFORTABLE & AVIOD IF YOU CAN...

This hostel wasn't what i was expecting. A lot of people were living there long-term while working or looking for work. Not a bad thing, but not conducive to a solo traveler looking to meet other travelers. That being said, I still met kind, friendly people. The worst part about this hostel was that it was on the 16th floor of an apartment building and it would take at least 10 minutes to get up there from the ground with how busy the elevators were. I counted 40 people in the lobby one evening.

Farhan, the Care tanker was really helpful and he guided me throughout my stay at Lakeside view Hostel.

the property is not near to Dubai mall as mentioned also there was very bad smell which door room not close and they shift us to other room which has this problems before we have better room but they gave it to someone without our permission and better and lower beds are taken by stuff also the bed sheet not clean at all have alot of hair and no place in fridge not organising old materials keeps for more than year and left is busy always its not good stay

First I had trouble finding the hostel, since it’s an apartment without any signs where to find it. Apparently all hostels in Dubai are apartments, I didn’t know that before. Anyway, once I arrived I really liked that place! Good vibe, good staff, good location with a bus station and a small supermarket right in front of the building.

Really deserve 10 star this place after a pathetic experience finally I found a better place to live.

A good place to stay if you are solo or with a friend. nice host and great location.

Highly recommended, host is cooperative and kind. Place is clean comparatively. I would love to stay more but it was already booked 😔

not a best place to stay

This is a hostel crammed into a small apartment on the 16th floor of a residential building. Elevators are frequently crowded getting up and down with decent wait times. There is only one bathroom, one kitchen, and one washer for 8+ residents. The washer can only fit 8 articles of clothes, too. This is a very average (if not, below average) hostel–only the people can make this experience worthwhile, but the environment is not exactly conducive to relationship building either.

Newly established, very neat and clean, love the vibes, host farhan is very respondent and responsible. I enjoyed my stay.

The staff was very nice and welcoming and the price of the hostel was good but a lot was lacking. There was mold in the co-ed bathroom, the set up to the hostel wasn't social at all and the location wasn't great. Trying to get the elevator up to the right floor felt like a fight (20+ people multiple times a day trying to fight for the elevators was crazy).

The apartment is clean and spacious, the host is amazing and so helpful, location is beautiful, really Farhan is helpful person thx

Honest to god, have no idea how this place got 10 stars. I question if these reviews were bought or were asked to be completed by friends. This place smelt bad and was never cleaned during the time I stayed. Stay away you’re better off finding somewhere else. The owner of the hostel is simply doing a money grab.

Lovely staff, great facilities (even a washing machine!), clean and tidy place 😊

Comfortable and cozy stay, will definitely come back, great cycling track, taking you to beach which is best thing about this hostel. There is hidden park i found, burj khalifa giving best views to the hostel.

Had a good stay and staff is very cooperative and very clean property and balcony view is very amazing I will be always stay here when I came in Dubai . ❣️

Highly Professional staff. Always place is clean. Free water, most of time i order online food. I Escooter it was fun round the lakes. hostel in big buildings gives a vibe.
