Staff don't introduce themselves and have no way of people identifying them as workers. Someone just came into the bedroom asking g for money. As it was late, I obliged. Bathrooms were horrendous. Toilet had a toothbrush to flush, toilet paper was soaked because the shower is right there. The shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time.
Walking distance to old Dubai, went to one of the famous Ustad Kababs, hostel stay was comfortable.
if you need a place to sleep for the night like I did then it's perfect. You get what you pay for. About 4minute walk from Metro(Burjuman) Burjuman mall. I wouldn't recommend for a single female traveler. There's no direction so it was hard to find. Once you enter building, take elevator to the second floor. "Hello" sign on the door marks the hostel. Heads-up, it's someone's apartment convert into two bedroom with ten bunk beds.
I think one of the best option in old side of Dubai. Hostel is quite neat and clean. Near to airport and easy access from the metro. I made friends and enjoyed my time
Really a center location. Comparatively better living and metro is just 4 min away. Very good spot to see old part of Dubai. Gold souq and spice market.
Real value of money. I have found this out 10 hostels it’s more clean and well managed. Host is so sweet.
staff was so nice and friendly i had early flight i request them to wake me up even they wake me up around 4 am they are really good and hostel was so near to Dubai airport so i was having no problems to reach airport from hostel as metro station is just next to hostel and ac were working so good room was clean once ill be back to Dubai ill be staying here again for sure
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, however, the bathrooms could have been a little cleaner, incorrect toilet seat on the toilets which kept breaking. Cleaning products and clean tea towels would have been an asset - I would have been happy to clean up! The beds were comfortable - Met some lovely guests - Thankyou.
The Location is the best, it's super close to the old Dubai. Not even a ten minutes walk to the Metro Station (green and red line) and not far from the Airport. It was a bit hard to find the entrance (it's in the second floor and the door with the "hello" sign) but after I find it, I had a great stay over there. The manager was caring a lot and really friendly.
I came to the building, saw nowhere no sign of the hostel, nobody answers on the phone, and the neighbours didn't know anything. Finally went to another accommodation.
good location but just two bathrooms for all people and yes its pretty much just the apartment of someone with bunk beds in it
Don’t put yourself through it….
Molto accogliente, ottima posizione, confortevole
A small, cosy hostel. Friendly owner, AC works well. Great value for your money. Everything was fairly clean, only missing some kitchen utensils.
I stayed 4 Nights at "Hello Hostel" and i can absolutely recommend it when you search a quiet, clean place to sleep. The Location is Central, a few meters away from Burjuman Metro Station. The beds are clean and comfortable and you get privacy with curtains. In general its a fair price for a small but nice and clean accomodation. Thanks also the helpful owner.
I must say, I did not realise that hostels in Dubai are just peoples apartments that have a room filled with bunk beds. The hosts were great guys, no complaints. The low review is simply a reflection of trying to sleep in a crammed room of ten other guys that are snoring, meanwhile an ice-cold aircon was blowing onto everyone on a top bunk throughout the night. Understandably, no sleep was had, and I got what I paid for. The next night was a proper hotel--a wiser choice. I will add-I accidentall...
Incredibly small. There can be up to 5 people sleeping in the common room, which makes it impossible to use it as a common room.
The worst hostel I have ever stayed at, it actually wasnt a hostel, it was just an apartment with one room for sleeping over and no front desk, no navigation on the building, no nothing. Other people were super loud, playing tv and music at 3am.
Loved it. It’s in the middle of the city airport isn’t far. If you look for place around landmarks, malls, restaurants, famous attractions and IT market this is the place for you.
