This property has a glamorous advertisement but it is extremely dark and dank when you step in. It is depressing and unworthy of the excellent location that people are made to believe.
Das Hostel war überbucht, sodass wir in ein anderes Hostel umgebucht wurden, welches nicht den Fotos entsprach und statt des gebuchten 4 Bett Zimmers wurden wir in ein 12 Bett Männerschlafsaal bzw. in einen 6 Bett Frauen Schlafsaal gesteckt. Auf Nachfrage beim Hostel, dass wir nicht den vollen Preis zahlen wollen, gab es keinerlei Einsicht.

Well, I guess 'Hostels' in Dubai are simply different^^
Great hostel, perfect location. Only 1 bad point which is a big problem!!! All the beds have curtains & roofs apart from 1 which is right underneath the light & people kept coming in & switching on that godforsaken light unit around 2 am. I had that terrible bed for 3 nights & didn’t really get a good nights sleep. This is an easy & cheap fix, the hostel owner just needs to pull his finger out & get it done!

There are 2 Lunar Hostels. See if you are in the "Lunar Hostel" or "Lunar Hostel Plus". Initially, it's an apartment converted into a hostel. Rooms are acceptable. There's just one shower/bathroom for 20 men. I reserved a 4-bed-room, but they only had an 8-bed-room and a 10-bed-room. It wasn't as advertised, and naturally, I was upset. Then they demanded an additional fee for the locker, which is absurd. They "offered" it to me due to the inconvenience with the bedrooms. Not sure if I stay again
Pretty good hostel in an apartment building. Very good location; close to lots of shops, restaurants, the beach, and many public transportation options. Staff are friendly and helpful. Not many bathrooms/showers though.
The hardest mattress I ever slept on. Really bad. Shower only have one temperature( hot).

Great location and staff. However a bit difficult to find initially. Comfortable rooms except there were very loud and inconsiderate guests making it quite difficult to sleep. Very clean. Ok place to stay if on a budget.

This is ok, I guess in luxury Dubai this is what you can expect from a hostel. One of the girls working there touches your stuff in your bed, something I do not like. She also came and asked me to review the place with her watching (Google). Not a good way to do it. But otherwise it was a ok stay

Soulless hostel, lots of people staying long term and all on their own not socialising. Hostel manager goes out of her way to make everything nice, deserves all the praise. Good and cheap place if you're visiting this expensive city :)
horrible and sketchy. no costumer service and the worst part is that you will be staying with a bunch of kids that actually live and work there but cant afford rent in dubai or don't have legal documents to get a place, avoid and avoid!
Booked a 4 bed dorm, but no such thing exists here. There was not a mattress but a 3 inch pad you sleep on, it’s not comfortable to me. Bedding is pilling, time to replace it. It’s an apartment that seems to have long term residents along with hostel stayers. 1 shower for maybe 12 beds? Not the easiest to find, but pretty well located.
Place is actually someone’s condo they turned into a hostel. rooms have double the amount of people than advertised… so there was like almost 30 people in the condo unit. Bit hard to find the place and we couldnt get any help when calling the hostel for clear directions. There are betttr places in Dubai.
What an amazing hostel at a beautiful location. Zizo is amazing and the entire feel, the view is super awesome! will definitely stay again. Thank you Zizo!
I was supposed to be in a 4 person female dorm with an ensuite. When I arrived I was told that they let the girl who was in my room extend her stay, therefore I didn’t have a bed anymore. They instead put me in a room with more people, that were all boys and it didn’t have an ensuite. Every morning I was told that I would be able to move to my original room later that day but that never happened. I am very disappointed with my stay and wasn’t compensated for the change.
