Apart from the broken toilet seat and damaged flush, this is a lovely place to stay. Perfectly placed for exploring the city and close to some nice cafes and bars. Great lift. Contrary to listing, we had no coffee or fridge. Our room's ceiling beams are *very* low - not obvious on photos as the bed is also low. Not sure the stairs should be part blocked by furniture in case of fire. But we enjoyed staying here & would return again - just not in the basic twin private ensuite on 3rd floor ...

personale adorabile, posizione perfetta in centro e stanza giusta per il prezzo pagato. suggerirei solo una mensolina nei bagni per non far bagnare eventuali porta trucco e simili. decisamente ottimo per il resto!!

Muy buen lugar para hospedarse. Cerca de todo, en una zona tranquila. Son 10 min andando a la ciudad alta y un poquito más a la ciudad baja. Cerca de varios museos y de una plaza muy bonita. El personal muy amable y habla perfectamente español. Hay parking, aunque es muy complicado acceder con un coche grande, pero se agradece igualmente un lugar gratuito donde poder dejar el coche. Habitaciones cómodas y amplias.

Très belle chambre. Personnel très gentil et serviable 😉. A noter que pas toutes les chambres sont climatisées. Lorsque vous réservez la chambre sur l'application Hostel, ce n'est pas forcément bien indiqué. Contactez l'hôtel avant si vous voulez avoir la climatisation.

Excellent value for money and location! The rooms are really nice and clean. Just be aware that it is more an hotel than an hostel, so they are few facilities (no kitchen or laundry for example).

I stayed at Academia Residence with my family for one night. It was the most affordable option that I've found online as the hotels in Bergamo center are on the expensive side, and it turned out to be surprisingly pleasant. The location is very good. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfy. I had a great sleep. The breakfast was somewhat basic, but it only cost 10 euro per person. In summary, I highly recommend it!

La zona era muy tranquila y el personal fue muy profesional y amable con nosotras, facilitándonos un servicio de transporte privado hasta el aeropuerto y adaptándose a nuestras necesidades. La habitación era una pasada, amplia, limpia, equipada, nos ofrecieron hasta una estufa para la fría noche en la que llegamos. Bel hôtel, idéalement placé pour visiter la ville. En revanche, il ne s’agit absolument pas d’une auberge de jeunesse. L’établissements n’a pas sa place sur le référencement de HI.

The stay was wonderful and the room was very clean and organised. We had a time to relax with all the facilities.

Clean but small attic room. Although relatively close to the old city, felt a little too quiet as no interaction with other travellers. No major issues however. Bergamo is beautiful for a 2 night stay

It was better than we expected! Location is amazing and design is unique! Staff was friendly and ready to help. Also they speak Russian which was really comfortable. Next time in Bergamo I will stay here 100%!

Overall lovely experience, our room was clean and the location is super close to the città alta which is the main thing we wanted to see! The staff were very friendly and gave us some great reccomendations for places to eat and see. Overall very happy!
