Bed and Breakfast Al Calicanto

This beautiful property was nestled in the quiet hills of Bergamo. super accessible by bus to the center. Bruna was a lovely host, preparing a delicious breakfast each morning. All the facilities were clean and plentiful, with great attention to detail. would definitely stay here again :))

If you are looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet, surrounded by the beautiful countryside, this place is for you. Bruna is so lovely and welcoming, and offers many suggestions. I have used buses to get there, and one has to be mindful of the times, however this was no bother for me as I worked around them well. The area, even though it is quiet, felt very safe. The room and facilities were super clean, warm and comfortable. The breakfast was really lovely! I would love to visit again.

Very lovely property, so very typical of a B&B. Berna was so kind, she realised we were a Mother and Son not a couple so she immediately offered another room for us. Breakfast was fabulous. We were there for the F1 and she was so accomplished for our comings and goings ! Lovely ‘

Es war sehr schön vor Ort! Bruna ist sehr zuvorkommend und kümmert sich sehr um einen. Sie gibt Tipps für die Erkundung von Bergamo und weiteres! Das Frühstück ist klein aber fein, genau richtig! Die Busverbindung ist recht einfach zur Unterkunft. Das Zimmer - ein Traum, alles was man braucht war vorhanden. Hat mich sehr gefreut da gewesen zu sein. Auch der Hund ist sehr knuffig, klar beschützt er, aber er knuddelt auch gerne. Danke für die schöne Zeit.

Wir hatten das Al Calicanto für eine Nacht gebucht, um einen Abstecher nach Bergamo zu machen. Vorweg, Preis-Leistung ist vollkommen angemessen. Bruna hat uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen. Die gebuchte Suite liegt unter dem Dach (Achtung viele Stufen mit schwerem Gepäck) und war modern ausgestattet. Vom Frühstück am Morgen sind wir satt geworden. Was man beachten sollte ist, dass Solisole sehr ländlich geprägt ist. Die Fahrt mit dem Auto ins Zentrum dauert rd 20 Min.

If you prefer a less busy and crowded area with a nice location close to the old town (Città Alta) this is the place to stay! The bus stop is about 150 meters away from the house and the buses go regularly and also to the train station. The host Bruna is a wonderful and helpful woman who makes it easy to be a traveler in the area. She made us the most delicious breakfast every morning and gave us a lot of tips for where to go. Thank you so much for a lovely stay Bruna!

Bruna is a fabulous host and helped us with lots of useful information. The bed was so comfortable and breakfast was great. We also loved walking around the village and had the most amazing meal at the village trattoria. Highly recommend.
