I really enjoyed the capsule concept, and overall the sleeping arrangements were wonderfully quiet. However… the common space was way too loud (being directly linked to the bar and restaurant, the pumping music was annoying)) and it felt more like a nightclub than a hostel. AND to make matters worse, that communal/work space was not even available on my second night due to a private event. On account of that and the too loud music, I forfeited my second night and went to another loca...
It was a peaceful and pleasant stay. Although I was a bit frustrated when I arrived at 14:45 and was told that check in is at 15:00. Which is fine until I checked in at 15:15 and someone was still cleaning my bed! So I had to go down to reception and get a new bed. I think that’s inconsistent in values. It isn’t ok for me to arrive 15mins early but it’s fine for my bed not to be ready 15mins late. Other than that it was great. Comfortable and spacious beds with good WiFi, toilets and show...
This place was absolutely amazing but one big deal breaker complaint. The room was SO HOT. I asked at the desk to turn the heat down, so did my friend. But they seemed unable or unwilling to not have it be SUPER HOT in there. Like can’t sleep level hot. Another small complaint, the curtains to the bed are very loud and will wake you up. Otherwise this is an amazing, dream tier hostel. No stairs so you have to use an elevator. No full kitchen but coffee/tea area

Great choice for those who want to be in the heart of it all but also get some good rest. I would certainly stay again.
Stayed at the Millenials in Fukuoka for two nights during the week. I paid about $38 per night. The good: the lobby and bar area are REALLY nice, feels like staying at a nice hotel. Location is great and central, bike rental is 1,500 yen (good deal IMO) The bad: not very social atmosphere, this feels like a property that is run as a business - multiple different events going on at one time. With that being said, I feel like it is great value for the money if you stay on a weekday. Too expensi...
great overall
Alles super!
Nice little capsule in a great location in Fukuoka, not very social but embedded in a social hotel
i have been to all 3 “millennials” locations in Japan. this one is my least favorite of the three, but it’s still a great place. this one is operated more like a hotel, and that’s probably because it’s on the 3rd floor of another hotel which i believe is the parent company of millennials. it doesn’t have any hostel elements to it. its Fukuoka and not many people in the chats.
This place had zero atmosphere and the sleeping areas smelt terrible. The long weekend surcharge was extremely high and the gimmicks like free beer didn't come close to making it good value. I would never recommend this place.
This is a great place to stay given its proximity to many different nightlife areas, sight seeing locations and major train stations. The atmosphere is oriented around meeting new people at the bar and the common area is the place where many people go to do work or have a quiet moment. It also isn't quite set up how hostels usually are with small but functional kitchens, only a fridge and microwave. I'd recommend it's best for short stays.
Loved it! Would stay again and can highly recommend. The staff were all so lovely and accommodating and the beds were really comfy!
Totally overpriced. For the room and service you can also get a Hostel/Capsule for way less. The hostel is located within a nice hotel, why the lobby looks really good. The rest is average. Also the air ventilation is really bad, resulting in a bad smell all over the floor. In one night also got woken up in the middle of the night, because the light turned on and could not be turned off. Safe money and nerves and go somewhere else
Preis-Leistung ist super bei dieser Unterkunft! Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass die Lüftung in der Schlafbox etwas stärker sein könnte. All in all bin ich sehr zufrieden!
This costs too much for its value (mind the date). I excepted more of a socializing hostel feeling but it gave me more of a hotel vibe and everybody does their own thing. It is fine if you want it that way. What wasn't fine is that every morning it stank like fart in the whole capsule room because there isnt a good air conditioning (the fan barely helps). During the they its also stuffy. There are not a lot of options in fukuoka but you could rather stay in a hotel room than in there.
-Perfect -
Lots of amenities. There are parties in the lobby. Mechanical sofa beds were amazing and comfy.
This a unique place to rest and recharge. It’s inside a hotel so everything is super nice and clean. They also offer free beer at the lobby bar. It’s the best place to meet other travelers. The rooms are small but they have everything you need.
