Arne's Place The Friendliest Hotel

Super nice place for couples and those looking for a more private accommodation. Right next to the beach. Wish we could have stayed here a few more nights.

Great location, good value for money and clean place. Not a lot going on socially and no activities available through this hostel. Enjoyed our stay.

Quite disappointed. Great location and nice staff. However, no social atmosphere at all. Not really like a true hostel with dorms. I met no one. There weren’t any activities proposed. Rooms are clean and good but quite pricey. Kicked me out at 11am while no one was checking in that day.

Booked this place last minute and may have been the best decision of our trip to Sri Lanka. The boys at Arne’s were so welcoming from the moment we got there. Anything we needed they were eager to help. The rooms were perfect for what we needed, air con works perfect which is so nice to come home to after a long day in the sun. Perfect place to relax, and we ended up hanging out with the boys a couple nights and having dinner. Will 100% be back, can’t recommend this place enough. Thanks agai...

This was a beautiful place, the staff were so friendly and really helpful when we needed them. The location is right on the beach, making it perfect to pop out and watch the sun rise! The social space is lovely too, lots of hammocks and outdoor beds. Our dorm room was beautiful and clean and the air con was great. Loved staying here!

Our favourite place to stay in Sri Lanka. Truly lovely family. Clean rooms, comfy beds, a few meters to the beach and the main road the other way. Extremely accommodating and helpful. Never been so welcomed to a place and already planning our return. Thanks again!

Loved my stay at Arne’s place, right near the beach, the staff were super nice, good air con and fan in the dorms, the outside area is beautiful got hammocks, plenty of nice places to chill and also a slackline!

We had a wonderful time at Arne‘s Place! Harlem Tool good care of us and Silver every issue we had. We extended our stay!

Friendly and helpful staff. Good location. Only cold water in the shower. I recommend the place and will stay there again.

The staff at Arne's place were so helpful and so lovely to us for our whole stay! They helped us organise activities and transport and were lovely to hang out with. Breakfast is also really tasy! Highly recommend staying here!

Very Nice family runned hotel, right near the beach. The rooms are Great but basic. We loved our stay.

The staff are wonderful. They truly live up to their name as the Friendliest Hotel 😊. Beautiful rooms, clean, nice food and great cabanas to lounge in. The only downside is the no air con. But I think that was getting arranged? Would recommend.

This place is habitable, but the walls and ceilings of the huts are not fully connected and the vents are holes in the walls. After dark having any lights on attracts bugs and geckos into the room. My shower had a hole in the roof above it so was basically outdoors, many animals could easily enter. No lockers in the room. ceiling fan very weak room is hotter than outside often. Staff tried to upsell on tuk tuks and surf lessons.
