Naranjo Hostal

This is just a house used as a hostel, not purpose-built. The owner uses the common area as her home, watching TV & hosting friends, making guests feel like intruders. It’s cluttered with her knick-knacks, & dorm guests have no space to relax. No keys are given, & the door stays unlocked. Though it’s said to be safe, bars are on windows. No lockers for secure storage. Cigarette smoke from owner & guests by the front door blows into the kitchen & dining area, making cooking & eating unpleasan...

I only stayed here for a night on my way to Holbox but it was a great place. I arrived around 1 am and the staff was very helpful and attentive, even having the energy to give me tips and advice for my trip. The rooms, bed and bathroom were extremely clean and there was AC. Highly recommend this hostel.

Grace is lovely and I met really amazing people here! It is a home with a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommend!
