Best hostel I’ve stayed at! Ly, Will and the rest of the hostel’s staff were so welcoming and helpful. Such a nice location, good food, and easy to meet people! You can also book many different activities through the hostel. The hostel made the stay in Hoi An amazing!
Ik raad dit hostel erg aan. Er is een gezellige familie/sociale sfeer gecreërd. Ze organiseren activiteiten van allerlei soorten en mensen zoek elkaar op. Maar het is geen feesthostel. Daarnaast zijn de kamers wel klein, maar schoon en met goede matrassen!
Perfect if you want to be near the beach. The bed was probably the comfiest of my entire trip. Social with a nice pool. WiFi didn't really work in my room but other than that my stay was great.
The best hostel I’ve been too on my travels. It’s 5 mins from the beach. It’s a family run hostel which is cosy with pool, ice bath, yoga room/work space. It’s the little things which make it great, like their own leaflet with recommendations of activities and places to eat. Organising social events for guests. It’s a chill place away from the busy centre. Highly recommend.

Such a great location 5 minute walk to beach 10 minutes grab into town. Will and ly are amazing hosts, nice rooms, great pool, cute dogs, even better pesto! Highly recommend
One of the best hostels we have stayed in. Will and Ly the owners are fantastic and really go above and beyond to help you with anything you need. There is something planned for the guests most nights and when we wanted a chilled night in Will set up a projector and Netflix so we could chill and watch a movie! Everything was clean and a there was just a really great vibe about the hostel. I would definitely stay there again
My favorite hostel I’ve stayed at! The vibes here are amazing. From every room, you step directly into the outdoor common area with plenty of shade and comfortable seating. The beach is only a short walk away, and the Old Town can be reached with a short Grab ride through the rice fields. It’s a smaller hostel, which promotes a chill and social atmosphere with movie nights, dinners, and mornings spent hanging around the pool. It’s a social hostel and a place to chill. I love the atmosphere, the support that Will gave me to my last minute tour. I also loved the family dogs, specially Buggy 🥰

More expensive then I used to pay. But location is good (5min from beach🚶) (15min from Old Town🚗). Will has a good knowledge of Hoi An and they have good recommendations for restaurants etc. And met lovely people ofc
Very social and nice pool area. Comfy beds and very private. Did find some used tissues down the side of the mattress which was concerning so maybe not the the cleanest. Great if you want to be nearer the beach rather than old town.
Had a lovely time at Wanderlust. A great option if you want to be closer to the beach rather than old town. It’s a small and chill hostel, but the owner Will organises a nightly event for everyone (like a meal out, drinks at the beach, movie night etc) Pool is great, showers and toilets clean and room/beds were comfortable. My only complaint would be that the rooms would get seriously hot during the day & sometimes night as AC is turned off throughout day and sometimes no remote in sight.
This place was great! Kinda nice to be a little bit out of town and close to the beach. Will and Ly were both super helpful, bed was comfortable, nice bathroom, good vibes and a perfect place to see hoi an. Would recommend!
Ok so the facilities here were great, I wil say that. But… I was sat outside by the pool and a HUGE RAT ran into the kitchen. I quickly ran to the desk and told them a rat just ran into the kitchen and they just shrugged their shoulders and said there’s nothing they could do. I found this quite shocking that there was no effort to get rid of it considering it costs nearly £7 for a meal here. So for the price of the hostel I wouldn’t say it’s worth it.
I felt a bit disappointed in this stay as the pictures of the rooms look very different from what they actually look like. It wasn’t bad stay but I just felt like the price was way too high for the experience and what you got. It’s a shame because I feel like it has so much potential but just didn’t feel that satisfied with my stay.
I stayed at Wanderlust Hostel in Hoi A for a few days and had a really nice, relaxed experience overall. I arrived in time for check-in, which was smooth and easy. The staff showed me around the hostel, including my room, bed, and the communal areas, which was a great touch. I stayed in an 8-bed mixed dorm that was modern, clean, and well set up, with good privacy curtains and individual reading lights. The bathroom facilities were also good, with reliable hot water. I've been to about 100 hostels and this is as good as it gets. Super friendly/attentive staff, natural including vibe, clean dorms/showers/restrooms, good matress, big lockers, activities to attend to meet the other lovely guests. Book all your days and a few more right away. This is a sought-after hostel!!
Super auberge, belle, propre, sociale avec en plus des supers brunchs, jus et café ! Le staff est également extrêmement gentil et attentionné !
Loved our stay here! The location is perfect—just outside the Old Town, so you’re away from the chaos, but still within walking distance to the beach and a quick, easy ride into town. We can’t thank the owners enough for how helpful they were, especially with their great activity recommendations. The food was delicious, and the rooms and facilities were all very clean.
