Cheerful Hoi An Hostel

I had a lovely stay! As everyone says the owner Hien is so friendly and caring. She helps you to organize everything with better prices. She took us on a free Street food tour to cheap and delicious local places and has a good connection to an amazing cooking class and made sure, everyone in the hostel connected. I was in the three bedroom dorm, which was huge with comfy beds. Even got a banh mi for the night bus :)) It is located a bit outside of the center, but you can get a cheap bike there.

Couldn’t ask for more! If you’re feeling at all lonely on your travels, stay here! Thank you xxx

This was the best hostel I have stayed in in Vietnam. I arrived at 7 am and received a very warm welcome from Hien. She gives honest advice on what to do in Hoi An. We had a delicious breakfast every morning. The rooms were also super clean. So overall, the best hostel for in Hoi An!

I stayed here 5 nights and loved it. The breakfast here is the best I’ve had at any hostel and the rooms were very clean. Mama had a lot of insight she was very eager to share and her food tour is incredible.

One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in. Hien is very welcoming to everyone and has the best tips and tours in Hoi An. It was very clean and the breakfast was delicious! Also the vibes in the hostel were the best. It’s so easy to socialize. If I’m in hoi an again I will definitely come back

Had such a wonderful stay here. The atmosphere created in this hostel is so wholesome and friendly. Mama is so kind and will help with anything you need. Found it very easy to meet people and had an amazing time.

It was my first hostel in Vietnam, and I must say I’m not sure I Will be at another hostel with such warm and welcoming host, and such social vibe. Hien the host Will take you on street food tour and cooking class for Cheaper and better than what you find on GetYourGuide. The social vibe was perfect for me - not a party hostel but still social and easy going. went out with other solotravellers every night there (4 nights). Would love to come back Again. Honestly my favorite hostel ever! Mama is actually incredible and helped me so much! Felt like a family! Made Hoi A feel magical! Free street food tour as well which was so fun!

Amazing hospitality!!! I was skeptical because the reviews seemed a bit too good but this place really is great. The host aka our new mom was incredibly welcoming and helps you plan your stay in Hoi An right at check in. She remembers everyones name and builds a great community. Would highly recommend anyone stay here. You will not regret it!! She also makes you a banh mi on the way out

Best hostel I’ve stayed in Vietnam!!

Amazing hostel close to the beach and rice fields. 15min walk to the old town. Hien is a wonderful host, you can go in her hostel with your eyes closed !

Mama's hostel was absolutely incredible! By far my favourite place I've stayed at in South East Asia so far. She makes everything so easy, gives food, activity, bar and tailor reccomendations which are all amazing! This is the place to stay in Hoi An if you want a chill, warm and fun environment.

Mama was great. I loved her suggestions and things she advised us to do. I loved my time in hoi ab with her!!

From two danish people: One of the best homestays we’ve stayed at! This was an excellent homestay, where the lady hosting you helps you with everything you could need to make this the highlight of your trip. The breakfast every morning was delicious, the personalised recommendations about tailors depending on what you’re looking for was fab, the street food tour I managed to go on on my last day was so fun (especially having to cycle it!), she helped with booked tickets! Honestly Hien was so helpful, she helped make Hoi An my favourite place in Vietnam!

this was one of the best hostels we ever stayed in! everything is very clean and no one can beat the owner's hospitality! She was always there for us with any problem, gave us advice and recommendations for everything we wanted to do in Hoi An, and even packed us sandwiches for our excursions! The tours she booked for us were fantastic (cooking class and Hai Van Pass), and the breakfast at the hostel was delicious! We would come back anytime and highly recommend this hostel to everyone!

Wonderful vibe and sweetest host! Made me feel so welcome and the breakfast was great. Bikes for 30.000 a day so you can easily cycle to the beach or through the ricefields. Great spot!
