El hostel está bien :) Hay habitaciones con y sin AC. Todas tienen ventilador. Buen ambiente. Lo único los colchones un poco duros Lo recomiendo!!
Nothing but great things to say about it here. Phitsanulok as a place is laid back, rural thailand, so expect that when going. If youre looking for some time to unwind this is the spot to stay. Mark and Mint who run the hostel are incredible. Every night theyd invite everyone out for dinner. Ive never had a hostel feel as homey as Karma Home did.
Property was alright, great terrace area but weird bed set up (only one actual room, other beds are in the hallway/corridor) and bath situation was not ideal. Owner was amazing though and gave great recs. But in general don’t go to Phitsanulok without renting a bike.
Both beds we booked had bed bugs so we left immediately! There isn’t much privacy at this hostel also as the stairs lead straight into the “dorm” which is just bunk beds on the first floor
The hostel and the host was really nice and generous! It had a good location and also a really nice rooftop. Unfortunatley we discovered right before check out that my bed was full of bedbugs! The ones I saw when I looked at the corner of the bed was (full grown) so I do not understand how the staff/host could have missed that. We've had to spend a whole day washing and tumble drying all our things to get rid of the problem. I hope they get to the bottom of the problem!
Booked three nights and stayed a week as it felt like home. The roof terrace was my fav place, so relaxing in the hammocks where you can chill and it was a very sociable space. Mark was amazing.. the perfect host. Thank you for everything 🙌
Loved my stay. Exactly the sort of relaxed, comfortable vibe I needed at that point in my trip. The rooftop terrace in particular was great.
Best hostel in town, super nice hosts and the rooftop is perfect to hang out.
Great place with a great owner 🤝
Mark is a wonderful and most helpful host and creates a great atmosphere, it's a small but cozy hostel. The rooftop is a lovely space to chill too. The 6 bed non-AC 'room' (more of a corridor haha) is not too comfortable. Otherwise a great base in Phitsanulok
Great hostel, good price , sociable with a nice rooftop terrace, Mark was very helpful the whole stay, would definitely stay here again!
Had a lovely time, Mark is truly a gem of a person & can give you the inside scoop on literally anything regarding the area! And the roof terrace was a highlight as well!
Great stay in Phitsanulok with Mark, the Owner. He was very helpful from the moment I arrived, and has a wealth of knowledge about the local area which helped me have a great stay. The rooftop garden area is great to chill out and was quite social. The honesty pot is a nice touch too. My only issue was that the Aircon control vanished midway through my stay and the automatic setting was too warm for my comfort while sleeping. All in all, I would stay again for the warm welcome and help.
it was really lovely the hostel owners got everyone involved and it was so chill thanks also was given lots of recommendations for cheap travel and places to eat etc etc
This place is amazing, really glad I stayed here! Mark will make you feel very welcome and at home.
Very social hostel! Mark the owner involves everyone and will give you a full run down of what to visit in the area and how to get there as the tourist bits are out of town. Really enjoyed my stay here. Couldn’t recommend this hostel more highly.
Very chilled hostel with super nice roof top to hang out. Mark is super helpful and gave me great recommendations on where to go in and around town. We also got invited to join Mark and his wife for a Buddhist holiday tradition which was very cool and went for many dinners with Mark and other staying at the hostel- a nice community feel.
All in all i just had a Great Stay!
Mark is a really lovely chap, gave us some tips around the area and took us to some fantastic food; hopefully back soon
karma hostel is about 10 blocks from the train station, on a lateral street, challenging to find the first time. I was in a small room w/4 beds and shared bath on the 3rd floor. No elevator. The bed has its own personal light and curtains. A locker just for valuables, everything else to the floor. I got lucky booking with A/C... other beds are in an open hall, quite hot at night. The place has a laid back vibe. it has a terrace, and also a hang out area (ground) with coocker, and wster dispenser
