A hostel placed near some great beaches and food places just outside Peniche. It has a very homely village feel and the couple running the hostel are amazing, we spent a great evening jamming along with locals and surfers in a local bar. Would fully recommend.

Quero deixar aqui o meu mais sincero agradecimento. A minha experiência no Rosto do 53 foi simplesmente maravilhosa — sem dúvida, um dos melhores dias que já vivi. Foi um tempo muito especial, cheio de boas energias, acolhimento e aprendizado. Quero agradecer também ao Paulo e à Marta por todo o carinho, atenção e dedicação. Cute Hostel and lovely hosts with a big heart for surfers and cyclists. I felt very welcomed right when I came through the door. It seems like the others felt similarly as the atmosphere was also great. The hosts help where they can. You can tell they like their own hostel a lot and try to keep it that nice. Will be back when I‘m around! Thanks :)

Thank you Paulo and Maura! This is the most welcoming and homely Hostel I have ever stayed at. The hosts are caring and supportive, making our time in Portugal as memorable as they can. Facilities are clean, location is great for surfing, and the Hostel offers an abundance of free and affordable activities for guests. This is the best place to stay when traveling to Peniche!

Excelente lugar para una estadía increíble en Peniche, lugar muy limpio y espacioso, muy buena la atención de Maura y Paulo, unos genios muy predispuestos, el lugar cuenta con tablas de surf, neopreno y bicis para alquilar, y todas las noches siempre hay actividades para compartir entre la gente del hostel!! Realmente unos genios 10!

One of my favorite hostels that I've had the pleasure of staying at. It is conveniently located in this laid back village called Ferrel which in my opinion is even more chill than Peniche. The two hosts, Maura and Paulo, are like an aunt and uncle there to support you with whatever you are looking to do. Definitivamente me volvería a hospedar aquí. Personal super amable, colaborador y resolutivo. Instalaciones modernas, limpias, con todo lo necesario, la cocina está super bien equipada y es muy amplia. El desayuno genial, con opciones variadas y un horario amplio. Las habitaciones bien equipadas, muy seguras, con colchones super cómodos y persianas, un plus! Todos los días hacen actividades para que los huéspedes interactúen y se diviertan. El ambiente es super bueno.

I loved my stay here. The owners are so caring and accommodating and the atmosphere is really nice. Wish I could have stayed for longer.

Wonderful place! Very easy to meet people and the hosts really make sure youre taken care of! Even in the low season and a very short stay I felt very at home and fullfilled :)

The stay was wonderful. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive to every little detail. Every afternoon there are activities so you can meet other guests in a super relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. It’s a great place to spend a few laid-back days, go surfing (thanks to all the facilities the hostel offers), and visit the towns of Peniche, Ferrel or Baleal with its really nice landscape. 100% recommended — they make you feel right at home from the very first moment.

33 Hostel is great for surfing and meeting new people. The vibes were amazing, thanks to the amazing hosts! I will definitely be coming back.

my favorite hostel yet! so clean and modern inside but still very charming. the owners were so welcoming and have cultivated an amazingly social hostel culture where it was so easy to meet so many interesting people. I'd only intended to stay one night but decided to stay a second night - I wish I'd stayed a third!

such an amazing hostel! the owners are super friendly and cool and the whole place feels like a real home. It was super easy to connect with people because there are activities every day and also the breakfast is a good time to connect. i also really liked the surfboard rental. you could chose out of hard- and softtops and there even was a shuttle to the beach. A big recommendation in general 😌
