Plaza Inn Hannover City Nord

Lovely staff. Nice rooms. Tram directly outside the door will bring you to the city centre. But, and it's not the Fault of Plaza, Hanover was very quiet on a Sunday night. There are very few places to socialize nearby. I have no complaints about my stay, except with regard to Hanover. But there again, perhaps I need to spend longer in the city than a single night.

Best bed of the entire trip

I found it a little pricy and there were few other travellers around to socialize with, but the location was great for hopping on public transit to take downtown. Special shoutout to the front desk staff: one of them patiently advised me on good places to eat in town, how to save money taking trains, and even made inquiries on the phone for me. The breakfast was solid, but I felt mislead by the app because it says breakfast was included (I paid about 10€).

More hotel than hostel. I had an email from Hostelworld saying l had paid all taxes so was surprised to then have to pay an additional tax when l arrived so have marked down for that. It was clean and a good location, a half hour walk from train station. Was only there for 4 hours so can't comment much further. Breakfast was decent for an additional fee.

Nice for a night, free open air parking

Those with low expectations will not be disappointed here. Boogers on the wall, no working shutters and at check in was told that breakfast was not included (although booked as inclusive). For one night ok, but would not book it again.
