Cochs Pensjonat

If you like the charme of an old hotel and are fine with it being partially renovated, this is a great choice! Common showers could have been cleaner in the evening, but overall the place was a good deal: quite clean, comfy beds, great location and fair price. Our room was facing the street, which has lots of (honking) cars during the night. Bring earplugs ;)

If you have a basic room, you don’t have access to a kitchen. No laundry. It’s definitely more of a hotel, so it was nice to have my own space with my friend this time, but it’s definitely not a hostel. It’s very clean, view from my window was great, bathrooms good.

Surprisingly wonderful, clean, secure and helpful staff. Free coffee all day. It is across street from Lorrys restaurant and park/place for evening stroll. Did end up using taxi back/forth to train due to heavy luggage.

I stayed here for 7 days and absolutely loved it. The place is walking distance from National theatre train station and even closer to tram routes. It is safe , good view of the street from the balcony. A peaceful place. No safety issues at all. They even provide utensils for the kitchenette. Fridge to store food. Warm water 24/7, free coffee plus 20% discount at nearby food and coffee joint.

Great place with good ambiance. Very professional and friendly staff. Excellent location. The only shortcoming was that the internet was slow. Aside from this, the experience was wonderful

the only mark down for cleanliness was everything was super clean that wasn’t a concern it was just one of the toilets was clogged for a whole day :( but everything else was perfectly fine! Super helpful receptionists they were so so kind, great rooms and they felt very clean. Would stay here again

I loved having my own room with a private bathroom. This was like a hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful. Everything was clean and well maintained. The bathroom floor was even heated...a bonus!

Cochs Pensjonat is an affordable island in a sea of expensive options. A lovely quiet hotel, it's décor is classic though a little dated. Our room had a ensuite with decent water pressure and what felt like a heated floor. The room itself was a good size, with plenty of space, a couch, table and chairs, fridge and two electric hobs. Norway is an expensive country to eat out for 3 meals a day, so the option to cook in the room (though unused) was nice. Would return.

This hostel is clean, very close to the city center and a train stop and nice restaurants and entertainment. The beds are the comfiest I’ve experienced at a hostel so far. The hostel also has luggage storage and hair dryers which is a plus for me! Good room size and storage in the room. Also a sink in the room which is nice to not have to go to the bathroom every time. Towels included and maid service everyday is a plus.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The only thing that I recommend to Cochs Pensjonat is to change the little reading lamps that are above the beds. It would be very cheap and easy to replace these lamps with newer lamps that have built in charging options: usb, normal EU plug in etc. This would allow people to charge their phones from bed.

This accommodation was in a great location near the park and palace. The room was a great size with bathrooms down the hall, but one of the showers had very bad water pressure and barely dribbled out. The rooms were so cosy and the beds were so comfortable. The wifi was great. Definitely recommend this accommodation in Oslo.

We had a wonderful stay at Cochs Pensjonat! We made this our home base for a week while we visited Oslo and it could hardly have been better! Centrally located in a nice neighborhood with marts, cafes, parks and bars in close range. We loved having the large royal palace park a one minute walk away! We felt very safe here and enjoyed the free coffee machine to start each day of exploring. Friendly and very clean, would recommend again and again!

Nice and clean room. Had a tv, bathroom and very basic kitchenette. It was a comfortable stay and I would book again.

Todo muy bien como puse en la reseña, salvo pequeños detalles como una máquina de café que se quedó sin leche por tres días y no lo repusieron. Y también que no tienen habitaciones para una persona y cobran por dos. Deberían cobrar más por privada pero no el doble.
