Great place to stay! The facilities are all new, there is an onsen for free use and a big kitchen and lounge area for guests.
素敵な温泉と清潔な施設、広いラウンジと充実した自炊コーナーで、快適に過こせました、ありがとうございます。
Best hostel I have ever stayed in!
The K House always means great quality and good vibes!! The Onsen was amazing, the right way to end a tiring day!!
I loved the location & the shared spaces is amazing. To have your coffee on the terrace & be surrounded by all that greenery is superb. I would say that while the property is cleaned, you can find the occasional bug, ant or spider either in the room, the porch & the onsen area. That is expected considering the proximity to the nature. I do hope that in the future they consider adding curtains to the beds. I loved that the dormitory had such a big window & you could see the greenery outside
I loved my stay here! Super friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were very large with plenty of space for all my stuff. The onsen was peaceful and relaxing, and the common area was clean, spacious, and a great place to hang out. Really social atmosphere overall. Would definitely stay again!
Stayed here on a rainy weekend. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The onsen is very nice especially the outdoor area where you can hear the river. The hostel is far from the Nikko attractions so if you want to explore that area, and don’t have a car, you may want to stay somewhere closer. The kitchen and common areas are very spacious and comfortable.
we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. the staff was kind, it was super clean, the onsen was so incredibly nice and it was super social! it’s in the middle of nature so good if you want to have a little getaway from the big city :)
Very warm service, the place is nice and well equipped, rooms are not too cramped and the onsen is a really nice thing to try !
Amazingly clean and peaceful hostel outside of Nikko. I had the Nikko pass and found it easy to get to and from the UNESCO sites and the nature of Nikko. It takes a bit of time but was a scenic drive. The beds and rooms were very comfortable and the private onsen was life changing! The staff here was also incredible, friendly & super helpful!
I loved the vibe there. You can really relax in the common room. After a long day away the onsen with inside and outside bath was awesome. Beds were comfortable and the rooms very nice with oldschool tatami on the ground.
I loved this hostel, it’s been one of my favourite ones I’ve stayed in Japan. The onsen is such an added bonus but the common space is such a nice vibe and it was so nice to chill there after a big day and have dinner with my friends!
This is probably one of the best hostels I've ever stayed at (possibly the best). First of all, this place is very aesthetic. The primary living room area is beautiful, with so much sunlight, gorgeous wooden tables, a tatami style area to sit on the ground, comfy couches and blankes, big windows, and the smell of essential oils being pumped via air diffusers. The primary lobby area has also a tent setup with arm chairs, as if you're camping indoors. Second, the living quarters are so comfort...
I totally loved staying here. The facilities were awesome including a full kitchen, indoor and outdoor onsen, and also a lovely common room. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Great value for money. It was quite far from the shrines etc so i just used it as a relaxing break.
very chill and cozy, I had a great time!
Great hostel. Incredibly clean, excellent kitchen and lounge, good location. The hostel even has a free onsen for guests. One of the best hostels I have stayed at.
amazing place yo stay with a great onsen
Best hostel i have ever stayed at. feels more like a 5 star resort
It was great for meeting people, everything was very clean and the onsen (especially the outsidoutside onsen) was nice. You just have to take into account that it takes a while to get to Nikko as the train isn't operating that often.
The double room was spacious and the onsen was clean and quiet. The common room was usually pretty quiet, and when it wasn't everyone was very respectful. The staff were all really helpful and friendly. I love the view from the dining room and onsen, which made the walk from the station and the extra distance from Nikko worth the effort.
