Lodge 82 in Korea

I had an beautiful and peaceful experience here! As a female solo traveler and my first time in Korea, the host made me feel so comfortable and she gave me many reccomendations of places. Even on my first night here, I ate a ceremonial Korean dinner. The beds are also so comfy. I can't wait to come back again!! Thank you again for everything. Truely the best hostel experience ever.

Lodge 82 was very very welcoming. I came as a college student, and I loved the family that hosted and welcomed me at the place. I loved being able to talk with the family there even though I know zero Korean. The area there is very nice. Its near the subways, and also very calm. Its also right next to many shopping centers like Hyundai Seoul and the Han River.

I had a lovely stay and the accommodation was definitely a highlight. The two hosts were lovely, super accomodating (recommendations, transport, adjusting and checking heating for me morning and night) - felt like staying with family without being overbearing (great as a solo female). The accomodation itself is older, but impeccably clean overall good value for money. The stay is on the 3rd level of the home (with a nice garden!), has a private entrance and toast&tea served every morning.

The facility was clean and the host(s) were very accommodating. The location is good for accessing the subway system. There are restaurants and stores nearby where one can get a subway ticket, drinks and meals and groceries. Be advised that the room is up very steep stairs. My suggestion to the owner is to provide a small refrigerator, a coffee pot and cups (no coffee, etc.) in the 'common' area.

We had a really nice stay at Lodge 82 and the woman even accompanied us to the airport limousine. It was really a sweet experience.

Top floor if residential property made a nice change from our other accommodation on this trip. Nice owners and simple breakfast provided. didn't meet any of the other guests unfortunately but the common space would have been quite small if we had. No kettle or microwave. 24hr Laundry up the road was useful as was the 24hr cafe next door!

Rooms are on the second floor of host family's house. It is small, so there are few guests, so it's quiet and homely. I didn't interact with the host family much, but they were all kind. Two metro stations nearby, each 10 minute walk. Toast, tea/coffee is provided each morning as a snack. Bed was a bit hard but fine. No air conditioning. House is neither traditional nor new, but well kept. As a solo traveler, I got a whole room myself. Much better than a capsule hotel. I would return! Than...

Wonderful place to stay! Super local neighborhood with tons of food and easy walk to trains and walk to the river and park. Amazing location, very comfortable place to stay, super friendly helpful hosts. Homey, calm vibes which was amazing for the city. Would highly recommend if you want to be in a local neighborhood and more quite spot.

Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und bemüht. Allerdings hat es in der Unterkunft sehr unangenehm nach Abfluss gerochen. Das Zimmer für vier Personen war dunkel, klein und ohne Fenster oder andere Belüftungsmöglichkeiten.

Amazing host with traditional feel. Anyone wanting to stay in a smaller place that feels like a home this is it.

We had the most lovely stay at Lodge 82! The hosts are a lovely family, and they were extremely accommodating to us! We arrived before check in and they welcomed us in early and even let us stay an extra 30 minutes after check out. They were so kind and generous (even bringing toast and coffee and tea in the morning) and the home is extremely lovely. 10/10 experience and we would definitely come back! Thank you again!

Really authentic experience and very nice staff!

Genuinely just a really really well run place. The family is kind and hardworking and its very easy to socialize. Clean bathroom and rooms and the family is very fast to help you with any request you might have and give you recommendations on what to do, absolutely recommend staying here as its good value for money.

If you are looking for an authentic Korean experience this is your place. I can't thank you enough for how you were with me. They gave me early checkin as my flight came in early. They helped me when my card wasn't working and saved me alot of money in the process. Staying in this lodge I met the whole family and learnt about their story which I really appreciated. So so so helpful and friendly. Thanks again!
