Barefoot Backpackers Hostel, Ahangama Beach

Had a really Nice stay. The social hosts George en Marit were so Nice had a great time!

the best part of the hostel BY FAR is the social hosts and the activities they organise and host and get everyone included in (shoutout lindsay + george). they really make barefoot a great place to stay :) however, i do find this hostel overpriced compared to others as the wifi didn’t work and the ac was on v limited hours and when it was on leaked and sprayed water into the dorm.

had the best time here, comfy beds, clean, great staff, very social, lots of activities arranged, would’ve stayed longer if it was cheaper

Such a lovely place and the location is perfect. The staff are amazing as so are the social host! Definitely recommend!!

stayed at my 2nd barefoot and i must say the place is A vibe ! big shout out to George the aussie, was A legand and i reckon he'll make a mad social host ! loved the swedish lass too who ran the place as well kept forgetting her name. only CON id say aboutabout barefoot is the sorta lightsout at 11pm and go to bed. no common area or even right out the back you can quietly chill/ hangout which kind of sucks being sent to bed like children. but suppose the strict rules are there for a reason.

Hee leuk verblijf gehad in Barefoot! Koningsdag gevierd met het hostel en het was zo gezellig. Verder is het hostel zelf super mooi en de social hosts (George, Lindsay en Marit) maken je verblijf nog leuker. Kan niet wachten om terug te komen!

Really good location, Lindsay was lovely. There was a lot of flies in my bed during the day from the windows being open but i know that’s something they can’t be helped.

Just overall a great hostel. 10/10 recommend.

Zo’n leuk verblijf gehad bij barefoot!! De social hosts (Marit, Lindsay en George) maken er echt een feestje van en zorgen dat iedereen zich thuis voelt. Het hostel zelf is erg ruim met genoeg plek om lekker te chillen. Ik kom hier zeker terug!

Laura, Lindsay & Marit were all fantastic hosts and really made my stay one to remember! All the activities they planned were a blast and would recommend it to any solo traveller. Fantastic hostel and planning to come back already 💥‼️

I stayed here before and just recently came back - for the same reasons. Lovely people, lovely vibes, great facilities and amazing social hosts. Would recommend to everyone :))

Amazing stay here !! Staff were incredible at setting up socials and making you feel welcome ( shout out to Laura who was brilliant 🤩) would 100% recommend if your a solo traveller unsure of where to stay! Great location also !

Loved my stay here! Definitely a very social hostel, I specifically liked the family dinners they host. Got to meet so many amazing people in the hostel. We all just hung out and extended our stays to all be there for at least 5 nights.
