Nice hostel, near the beach, safe favela, good breakfast, clean shared bathroom, nice sleeping pods, balcony in the room. They clean the bathroom between 8-10am which is a time many uses the bathroom and you can’t basically use it because there’s soap water all over the floor and countertops preventing you from using it, which was a con, maybe they could’ve cleaned it earlier or later. But they do clean it well, no doubt it that. There’s a good and cheap restaurant nearby called David.

The hostel is wonderful all of the staff is very nice and I found it easy to find friends. The rooms are nice and quiet for the most part. Only critique is it would be nice to see the hostel put effort into arranging social activities like hikes.

The rooms were really small, you cannot bring drinks from outside cause they sell themselves.

Super Hostel, personnel au top, le petit dej’ le matin qui fait très plaisir. Les lits sont agréables et on se sent bien isolé. Rooftop, très belle vue. Rien à dire, prenez un lit sans hésiter. La seule chose à améliorer serait peut-être des petits jeux ou autres à organiser pour qu’il y ait plus de vies et de rencontre à l’hostel, sinon top.

I think this is one of my favourite hostels that I’ve ever stayed in. It’s so clean, the dorms are comfortable, the view is amazing, and the staff are so friendly. I extended my stay by 2 nights because I felt so comfortable. The breakfast is extensive and delish. It is not social - it is sociable. It is very easy to connect with people and go out to explore/party with, but it isn’t a party hostel, so there is a great balance between social and relax. I couldn’t recommend more

Decent hostel, staff can be kind or rude depending on the person at the desk. They do their best to clean but some guests are just messier than others. The location isn’t bad but it requires uber drivers to drive up a narrow hill for pick up and drop off. There was an air conditioner leak in my room and my stuff was soaked…I had to push for some support after it occurred.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. Great breakfast (fruit, eggs, bread, granola, milk, and coffee). Beds feel private and there’s good storage space. Clean overall, plus a gym on the terrace. It’s located in a favela, so there’s a bit of a walk uphill, but totally worth it for the views. There’s also a coworking space. The fridge could be cleaner since some guests leave food behind and it gets crowded. Overall, a great vibe and super easy to meet people!

Il s’agit du meilleur hostel que j’ai fait au Brésil. Les chambres sont pratiques, propres et les lits sont confortables. Les espaces communs sont également très jolis et restent calmes en soirée. Il y a un rooftop qui est superbe et le petit déjeuner est très bon! Vous pourrez y faire de belles rencontres ! Le personnel est également très disponible et sympa. Super Hostel die zimmer waren super. Die Leute waren super. Das Frühstück war auch sehr gut und vielfältig.

Clean, comfortable and relaxed. Great for quiet time in Eio. Nice roof terrace and really useful little gym set up. The area is more locals than tourists which means the beach is not as crowded. Really enjoyed our stay, it’s just what we needed. Fab breakfast included!

La meilleure auberge sur Rio

I really loved my stay here! The rooms and bathrooms were clean, they had a great free breakfast. I met some amazing people as well that enhanced my solo travel experience. The hostel is located up a big hill so it is a longer walk up. You can also just Uber car with your bags to avoid this. The favela has their own moto taxis that can also take you up for a small amount. I would recommend this hostel and would love to stay here again.

One of my most favorite hostels to have stayed at. I was in the dorm with the en-suite bathroom - room & bathroom were always super clean. Rooftop pizzas were great & the gym is all you need. Great to make friends, social but not a party hostel! SUPER SAFE, don’t let the favela throw you off! Would 100% stay again.

The perfect place to meet new people with great energy. I had so much fun being there, would recommend it to anyone! The only thing inconvenient about this hostel, is its location : it's uphill, so you'll have to climb for a few meters to get up there but you can pay 5 reais for a ride on a moto-taxi.

The dorms are new and the beds are private & spacious. The rooftop is nice. The breakfast was really good. The location is perfectly safe to walk, even at night. We were there for 10 nights over carnival - there were no social events for the hostel at all, which was surprising and a bit disappointing. I stayed two weeks over Carneval and had the best time ever. Great breakfast, super good and clean dorms with very comfortable beds. Great View, super nice common area and perfect so socialize. Would recommend to any of my friends. !!!!

Beautiful hostel, probably my favorite one that i have stayed in rio. Breakfast in the morning was a big plus and close to the the beach. Only down side is that sometimes Ubers won’t come up, so youll have to call multiple times until one does or walk down the hill and wait.

Loved this hostel! The hostel was clean and spacious, both in the social areas and in the rooms, and the breakfast was great. It’s located in a favela, but it felt really safe and was just a short walk from the beach. Meet a lot great people as well

Wahrscheinlich mit das beste Hostel in dem ich bisher war. Das einzige negative ist dass das Hostel an einem steilen Hang liegt und so gut wie kein Uber dort hoch fährt.

I loved my stay at Aquarela do Leme great views of Leme. I worked while staying there so really appreciate the coworking space.
