Casa Copada

The matresses were old and not comfortable. It had a nice rooftop. But overall wouldn't recommend, because there are better options in Montevideo

It was a good hostel, had everything a hostel needs and very well planned dorms! I would like to kitchen cupboards to be a bit cleaner and have more utensils. Unfortunately there were only me and my sister that were the only women with 10 men, which didn’t feel very safe, also because one of the long term guests were constantly hitting on us.

It was a decent stay. The vibe was a bit more “volunteers and remote workers” than solo travelers. The lighter for the stove in the kitchen only made sparks not an actual flame which I didn’t love but that could be a skill issue.

In den Zimmer hat jeder seine eigene kleine Box mit einer Steckdose (hier kann man entweder einen kleinen Fan anschließen oder sein Ladegerät) und extra im Raum: abschließbarer großer Spind. Großer Minuspunkt: es gibt viel zu wenig Toiletten für zu viele Besucher, Dusche und Toilette sind kombiniert, wodurch die Wartezeiten extrem lange sind

Notre séjour de 5 jours dans la Casa Copada était parfait. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec des casiers et des rideaux autour des lits. Les espaces communs sont propres et dotés de nombreux jeux. La Casa Copada est très bien située, proche de la vieille ville et de la Rambla. Le point fort de notre expérience était l'accueil du t du gérant qui était très accueillant et chaleureux. I had a great time there. All the workers are really awesome, super cool guys. Very personable. As far as the facilities you’re getting what you paid for. Everything is functional and if it’s not functional they fix it very quickly. It can be hot in the summer, but the give everyone an individual fan, which I had zero problems being hot while sleeping or in my bed. It's in a good location. A short walk from the nearby museums and 30 minutes away from a decent beach.

J'ai apprécié mon séjour dans cette auberge. Le personnel est très sympathique. Les dortoirs sont confortables. Bon rapport qualité-prix pour Montevideo. J'ai adoré la terrasse.

Maior problema: não estão preparados para ondas de calor. Eu passei mal no lugar pela falta de climatização. O mínimo deveria ser um ventilador

Hizo muchísimo calor y no tenían siquiera un ventilador. Fuera de eso, está bien ubicado, con bares en la esquina, las camas son cómodas, el personal fue muy copado.

un plaisir de résider à Casa Copada lors de mon séjour à Montevideo. l'hostel n'est pas tout neuf mais tout l'essentiel est à disposition, le personnel est super sympa (merci encore pour l'accueil🫶), on se sent à la maison. Mention spéciale pour la terrasse sur le toit ! Et encore une fois, mention très spéciale pour l'équipe !

Linda casona. No me resultó que no registraron mi reserva y casi me quedo afuera. Pude entrar gracias a un huésped que balconaba y me ayudo. Lo demás todo perfecto!!!.

Veramente un buon hostal, personale gentile e sempre a disposizione! Ottima posizione , l unica cosa un poco difficile è trovarlo perche è privo di insegne o cartelli pero in generale veramente un buon soggiorno, Grazie!

Very loud hostel, you can hear every spoken word from other guests, every door inside your room. Only two bathrooms. Stuff don't care about you. Location is good and price is okay.

Very basic hostel. Location and staff was okay. Felt like the toilet was a bit smelly and the women’s bathroom had kinda of a weird door. Ok for one night.
