One of our worst hostel stays ever! The ratings and pictures do not represent the reality at all. The hostel is in an old building, which has not been maintained accordingly. It smelled like mold and all the facilities were beyond outdated. In order to pay by card, you need to give them your card info. The balcony door could not be closed nor locked, and staying in a room without balcony was like sleeping in a sauna. Booked for 2 nights, stayed for 1. One positive thing was the kind owners.
Cute space, very much that Montevideo-style design with the skylights, high ceilings, adjoined sections of the building with plenty of stairwells and aesthetics in the walls and ceiling and floor. Plenty of space to move around, lots of couches and good public spaces, a bunch of rooms across two floors, plus a rooftop terrace. It was clean, both the kitchen and the locker-room-style toilet and shower stalls being totally usable. Our chief complaints were that a) as a minor detail, they advertise...
Petit hostel sympathique, mais pas aidé par l'emplacement malheureusement : peu de commerces / bars / animations, et une fréquentation du quartier assez moyenne (beaucoup de personnes à la rue assez proche de l'hostel)
This is a great place for a short stay in Montevideo, it had a great kitchen and the staff were very friendly. The location is okay as it is only a short walk to the main sights of the city although the street the property is on is not the nicest.
Un lugar cómodo, limpio y con una muy buena atención.
Good basic hostel. Good for a short stay in Montevideo.
Eher weniger sozial, aber coole Dachterrasse und schönes Haus! Sehr bemühtes Personal :)
The property is a typical hostel, but its location next to the port makes the area a bit rough and noisy. Not a place to be after dark. The hostel did have decent security in place.
