Hostel was pretty clean, staff is friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is rather quiet. Not a lively backpackers hostel. It's okay for one or two nights to stay in taipei.

Loved this hostel. The blinds blocked out pretty much all the light, your bed had its own storage shelf, lighting, and charging station. The storage lockers were big enough for 2 bags. The bed was comfy and its also close to one of the large night markets. Its a 30min walk from the main train station too. Staff wad friendly. The bathroom is shared, keep that in mind but the showers are separate. Most females used the stalls at the end since most of the males used front stalls for separation

I did an early check out because I wasn't getting quality sleep in my assigned room A7. This is not to discriminate elderly but there is someone in the room who snores like calling demons from hell. I tried to stay but when I looked at my face on my fourth day, my eye bags is telling me to move out immediately. I was hoping for a restful vacation but I was restless in 80% of my stay. Hope the management will listen to this.

I was really pleasantly surprised with meeting mates, the receptionist staff take friendliness to a whole new level and I loved meeting people downstairs in the amazing common area, everything was very clean and there was plenty of privacy not even to mention how cool all the securely locked electric sliding doors were. Honestly if I ever come back to Taipei (and I hope I will) this would be the place for me to stay

the toilet smells strongly of piss. there are a group of middle age men that makes disgusting throat clearing sounds,snoring and loud phone calls inside the room. i would not recommend staying here as there are way better hostels in taipei.

5 minute walk from Longshan MRT station, 7/11 is around the corner. Plenty of spacious showers, hairdryers available for use, large locker. A large common area for socialising, and there's hot/cold water machine for refills and fridge/microwave. Definitely recommend for exploring Taipei!

Nice enough rooms. Walking distance to good areas. A+ security. Bathrooms smelled for the duration of 2 day stay.

Bad hostel experience. Staff didn’t talk to me once, not very helpful or welcoming. Hostel filled with high schoolers and middle schoolers and elderly men. I was staying in a dorm as a single female, filled with elderly Taiwanese men. The smells and sounds at night kept me from being able to sleep. No ventilation, no ambience fit for relaxing or sleeping. I felt really uncomfortable during my entire stay. Not fit for female solo travelers. I would not come back.

they rented out the social area to a bdsm event for the entirety of my 2 night stay. I met nobody. didn't charge me for being 30 min late on checkout though

Lo único que más vale la pena es la sala común del Hostal. Grande, con sofás, mesas, puffs, dardos, bar… Muy cómoda para trabajar o descansar. Aunque está en el subsuelo por lo que no entra un rayo de luz. Las habitaciones son muy pequeñas. Hay un casillero grande en cada una. La cama no es extremadamente cómoda pero está bien. The rooms are a bit stuffy with poor ventilation and could be a bit cleaner. Has a big area at the basement for working. The atmosphere is a bit strange because it’s shared with non hostel folks. My favorite part of this hostel is that they have a place to hang your clothes outside. Overall maybe best you can get for the cheap hostel tier in taipei.

It's a decent place to stay in Taipei. The lounge is pretty nice. It's pretty huge and has darts. It nearby the nanjichang night market and many decent restaurants.
