DO NOT STAY HERE. I was woken up by a Chinese man ripping my bed curtain open screaming at me at 6am. He just arrived and was all dirty and yelled at me for being in his bed. I had to wake up the entire room because I didn't feel safe. I had to prove to him I was not in his bed. I immediately left in an Uber. Staff is not onsite overnight, they did email with me and apologize and refund most of my money.
great hostal, fine location close to the general station and a lot.of shops around
Very clean, secure and modern hostel with comfortable dorms and helpful staff. Great location near Ximen metro but in a quiet street.
PROS: great location, comfy beds with curtains, lockers, kitchen, lounge area CONS: staff not super friendly, luggage storage is just in the hallway, bugs in the basement kitchen, en-suite bathrooms not cleaned very well, a lot of rules (ex. no drying clothes in the rooms)
Def not a social hostel!!! Might just have been unlucky w the people, but the vibe was a bit off… If you’re looking to socialize I would suggest to go somewhere else. The people at the front desk were very stressed so they were a bit unfriendly too. Not the best experience :/
Good quality bed linen. Toilet room smelled bad, damp, mildew. Roaches 🪳 in the kitchen area.
Weird hostel. Decent for a bed but I didn’t want to spend any more time there than I had to. There are a handful of older adults living out of the hostel. The dorm bathroom never had soap.
Unfriendly staff. Weird crowd that seems to be living at the hostel rather than just staying a few nights. Not many bathrooms and all if them kinda moldy and not clean. Rooms were also kinda dirty.
Gut gelegenes Hostel. Nur knapp zehn Minuten von Taipei Main Station. Die Zimmerbelegung wird flexibel vom Personal vorgenommen. D.h.
the bed was full of hair (not mine) when i arrived and the room and the showers were dirty too. it was loud in the room because we were like 8 people in a really small room. i didn’t love it but for a short time it is okay as long as you dont care about tidiness so much. the location is good and the price okay i guess
great location and overall mostly clean, but the mattress wasnt super comfortable and the communal area was pretty empty most of the time
Good place for a short stay, nothing fancy.
Room 601 had the ensuite toilet out of order my entire 5 night stay. There was as a shared toilet on the floor but was always occupied with guests not showering in their own rooms??? Basement common area was big but the automatic door didn’t close due to the air con pressure so although I only visited during day time it was not secured.
The staff was absolutely amazing and willing to help. The location was perfect. It was a bit noisy (but what do you expect in a city) and it wasn’t too clean, there were hairs everywhere. The beds are comfortable but a bit short, which wouldn’t be a problem if you’re under 6ft. It isn’t very social but perfect to relax after a busy day!
Schöne gemütliche Unterkunft mit großem Gemeinschaftsraum
Nice location. Near enough to both Ximending and the Taipei Main Station. The rooms were clean and spacious enough lockers. The basement lounge just needs the occasional bug spray as there were mosquitoes flying about when i stayed there.
Convenient place to stay close to the main station. Shower was really dirty though. beds and lockers were fine. I guess it's ok for the money.
Good hostel. Only I cannot use my credit card with auto machine. Not sure why but I can use card in another country. Would like to sugesst traveller to check with hostel that accept only Taiwan card or not so that you can contact your local bank to activate to use in Taiwan. Some coffee shop told me that they only accept only Taiwan credit card.
Great, but if you check out 1 minutes later you have to pay 100 NTD Make sure to check out early if there’s already someone checking out :(
A bit dead, wasn’t a place to met other travelers but the rooms were clean and had bathrooms and shower in the room.
