Very friendly and helpful staff who always took the time to greet us and make sure we had what we needed. Main features of the city are all a short tuk tuk ride away. Good value
Great hostel. Recommend.
Very friendly staff, a secure building nice and clean. The room is very efficient for its purpose. A hotel not a hostel which was fine for us.
We enjoyed our short stay at Star Wood Inn- while dated in areas, we feel it is accurately advertised and sold at an appropriate price point. We were warmly welcomed and the staff were kind throughout our stay- when we went downstairs to ask about a water filling station, they generally provided multiple bottles of water which we could keep in our room, even though it was late at night. The front of house team were always available and greeted us as we left and arrived back at the hotel.
Lovely Cambodian staff. Hostel room is okay and clean.
I enjoyed staying there; the staff was very friendly and helpful, and there was a restaurant there that they would open for you if you were hungry. I liked it!
Great simple room walking distance to many restaurants and the staff were really helpful
Everything was amazing! The staff was super friendly and even let me store my luggage for several hours in a safe place. Will definitely be back!
It was good for the money and location isn’t to bad you can get tuk tuks to places easily but the rooms need updating and it was dusty when I arrived in my room and I didn’t have a cover on my duvet
Nice and quiet room. Near to everything you need. And very friendly staff.
Functional but not much else to the place. Not the cleanest around the bathroom sink. Easy to get tuk tuks to various locations from there but not much at it's doorstep.
A safe and comfortable place for a woman traveling alone. Delicious food. The sheets and towels smelled very good. The workers are very friendly and attentive. The receptionist was a sweetheart, she helped me with all my questions.
functional, soulless, fine.
We had a very nice stay. The location is great and the staff is very friendly. It's not a social hostel. More a small hotel.
We had a private room for one night. Great location to grab our bus to Vietnam (8min walk). Staff was very friendly:)
Great shower! Great air con! Great bed! Most importantly though the receptionist- Sakada was amazing. i arrived at 8pm, came rushing down 9pm needing an early morning bus to Sihanoukville and he went out of his way to make that happen! I am ridiculously grateful
price wise I was disappointed.
Nice hostel/hotel so stay in for a few nights. Seems a little overpriced but Phnom Penh is relatively quite expensive itself. The staff are very pleasant and can help to organise travel etc if needed. There are a bunch of restaurants / supermarkets within walking distance also.
+ Great value for money, rooms clean and spacious. + Very helpful and friendly staff. - No common area. - Our bathroom had a big hole in the ceiling, and small lamp in bedroom was broken.
Calm place to stay for a short time
