Very friendly and helpful staff. All the guests were also very friendly and respectful. Clean place to stay with clean bathrooms. Il def be coming back when I need to stay in the area again.

I wish i read and listened to the reviews and trusted my gut to go back to sleep at the airport upon arrival. Everything you read about this place is true. I am covered in bites. I did not sleep. The street would have been safer and cleaner. When you’re tired and desperate remember the cost of bed bug treatment and pay for a hotel or stay at the airport.

Clean and safe. It’s a pretty big hostel with kitchenette, tv gazebo, BBQ with pans available for use, full size refrigerator in roof. They provide bedding, blanket and towel. There’s luggage storage in the room and a locker for valuable. They provide the lock. Good mix of people staying for short stays and longer stays. Some drinking and Mj smoking but nothing over the top and not an issue in the rooms. I know this place has some bad reviews. I had a very positive experience.

This hostel should be banned from this platform due to severe bed bug infestations. On one occasion, I woke up at 3 AM to find a bed bug on my neck. I've also spoken with several guests who have been there for extended periods, primarily due to its low price and their mental health struggles, and they reported frequent bites as well. Came in and left immediately despite not being able to get a refund. I had rather eaten the cost than stayed there for a single night. That place is a genuine living nightmare, looks like a prison and is all but a homeless shelter. HIGHLY would not recommend unless you’re literally homeless.

It’s not a hostel as you think.. Only old homeless people “living” longterm in the dorm.. Everyone snoring and food is inside the room.. I think this kind of accommodation shouldn’t be on hostelworld.. You won’t definitely get no sleep, they are loud till 1am and snoring and coughing and talking.. I wouldn’t recommend it and it’s not a hostel it’s a homeless accommodation..

I personally just wanted a place to lay my head before my flight so didn't spend much time feeling out the vibes or facilities. that being said, the checykin was smooth and I made it to my bed at 11:15 pm ish. around 2:15 am I woke up feeling very itchy and felt some kind of insect on the bed so I went out to my car and realized I had bug bites all over my neck and face. you can imagine my dismay. I got confirmation of what bug when I felt something crawling in my sleeve and luckily I killed it.

I think this place is a great value. It's close to airport and near #1 bus line. It might be nice to have a convenient store in the lobby reception to buy small items like toothbrush, soap, toothpaste, beverages and snacks like muffins, poptarts or frozen pizza wraps from Dollar Tree. They do have a machine for candies but sometimes you don't have $4 in change or you want something more substantial than a Snickers bar.

DO NOT STAY HERE! There are bed bugs and cockroaches everywhere. We regret not reading more into the reviews before we booked here since we needed a place close to the Fort Lauderdale airport. The facilities are really old and not maintained. The staff and other residents were friendly and nice though. Don’t talk to the cats. They got fleas.

When I arrived, I wanted to leave right away. I didn't feel comfortable/safe at all in the area. In addition, the hostel wasn't really clean and the people next to me probably had bed bugs. I would never go here again. I just felt disgusting there.

The US just doesn’t have real hostels in most places. If you really need to save money this is fine but I don’t plan to go back.

Sure, here's a revised version of your review: --- I stayed in a 15-bed dorm on the third floor and unfortunately found a dead roach in my bunk bed. I've stayed in lower-cost hostels in other places and have never had such a bad experience with the room. Thankfully, the front desk staff was very nice and helped me relocate to another room with fewer beds, which was better. However, I still felt quite disgusted. Unsure if it’s worth avoiding 1 night at the airport for q long layover.

I arrived at the property, they checked me in and charged me the value for all my nights. Then they let me in, I went to my bed and it was dirty, full of food crumbs, and there was a dirty plastic knife sitting on top of the bed cover. The floor was absolutely disgusting. There was old food and trash on top of the fridge and inside it. The little light inside of my bunk didn't work. I went out, complained, and asked for a refund. They just gave me excuses and lies until I had to leave.
