We had a lovely night at this sweet little capsule hostel!
Amazing!! Slept so well and felt very comfortable. Located next to the station, ideal location.
Loved it here! The guesthouse was so clean, welcoming, and cozy. I felt at home! The people there were so kind too. It felt like a more local hostel. Great place to cozy up in Hiroshima.
Very sweet & cozy guesthouse, about 5 min away from the main station, which was perfect for me. The staff was really nice as well, the common facilities and showers were clean and you got your own little cabin for sleeping. Pretty much perfect.
Excellent stay. I will absolutely book here again! My only cons are: - You cannot be in the hostel after 10am unless you stay in the bed area - the facility expectations and check in process differed between their website and the confirmation email instructions, so I was taken off guard when I arrived as I was expecting A. to have a towel provided, and B. self check-in
I chose this Hostel for the cultural discoveries proposed (kimono, tea ceremony, massage, etc.) but in fact nothing was on offer. No staff were around, except for our check-in, and that just seemed to be a stroke of luck because the reception desk was usually empty. There is a pretty common area that was almost never used, and the dormitory light was often left on at night. However, it was clean, well-stocked with tea, coffee and bathroom products. Not my favourite hotel in Japan.
10/10 everything was good
This property is clean and quiet. They have products guests can use which is nice. However, they have rules to not be in using the common space majority of the day. They also charge 800 yen an hour for luggage storage which that isn’t listed on hostel world. You also have to put on and take off your own bedsheets. 4 ppl in a 16bed room and we all were assigned top bunks for no reason? Lights on in room til after 0000? Further from attractions. Weird but clean and nice showers/bathroom.
Great localisation if you want to be near to the train station but in 20min walk from the center. Really clean and lovely. If you want to have some days off is perfect but not a social place
This hostel is in great proximity to Hiroshima station aswell as a walk or tram ride to Peace Park. The hostel is very clean. Met some lovely people here.
The hostel was lovely and cosy. The beds were comfortable and everything felt clean. There were also lots of toiletries available- and the tea/coffee provided was lovely. It was ideally located next to the station and a street car station for getting around Hiroshima. It was quiet and not very social, but a lovely base to explore the surrounding area. Just to be aware you can’t be in the hostel between 10am - 12noon whilst cleaning takes place. This wasn’t a problem for me as I was out any...
Amazing place, really. Kind people. Very clean. Very calm. Perfect location close to train station. It is however really not a party-social hostel. It’s a lot of kind women, being very calm and to themselves. Very nice. Bathroom is full of awesome hygiene products. At first I was a little unhappy with all the rules and restrictions I had been sent via email (like everyone needs to leave after 10 am!) but in reality they weren’t strict about it at all. Recommend.
Staff are nice and the facility is very clean! However, a streetcar line is just right outside the hostel, sp if you are sensitive to noises, this location might not be the best for you. I was given a bed on the top bunk, I asked for a bottom bunk, but the staff at the counter couldn't explain why I can't have the bottom bunk even though no one was occupying any of the lower bunks during my stay. Anyway, I still enjoyed my stay, thank you!
My stay at Coco was good, the guesthouse is very cosy with a lot of travel recommendations and there is free good coffee and tea! However be aware that the guesthouse is not very spacious and the owner holds some meetings in the afternoon sometimes, which makes it not easy to rest at any moment of the day.
Quiet, clean and comfortable, ideal location, couldn't ask for more
Very clean in the dorms, bathroom areas and common space. Security is good. Dorm bed was comfortable and spacious, however the ladder steps to the top bunk are far apart, and I little difficult. I would recommend staying here if you’re visiting Hiroshima.
Great idea. Worked well. Thanks.
My least favourite hostel during my Japan trip. 16 women in one small room, other guests had no respect for keeping the light off, packing during sociable hours or noise control. The facilities were cute and clean but the atmosphere was awful. No guests would even greet each other, there was also a sign saying ‘no chatting’ in the common room. The owner was kind but never around. Other staff were awkward. Cleaner threw away my toothbrush and deodorant. Left a night early I disliked it so muc...
