Was a good stay but had to stay out of town at a home stay by the same guy. Had to pay for aircon and charged for the pickup from bus without telling us but wasn’t much. Nice couple gave us peanuts and extra toilet paper but the husband/owner kept trying to act like he was being nice to us but just trying to sell us things/trips which was a bit insulting/ingenuine. there staff is good and cleaness is good

Wasn’t easy to get there but I felt comfortable once I arrived at the accommodation. The host was super nice and hospitable.

Erg vriendelijke eigenaar van de homestay. Hij is heel gastvrij en heeft ons goed geholpen. Onze bagage was verloren gegaan op het vliegveld in Colombo en deze meneer heeft er alles aan gedaan om te zorgen dat onze backpacks hier werden afgeleverd terwijl wij een safari tour deden. Daarnaast mochten we ook nog hun fietsen lenen waardoor we de oude stad lekker op de fiets konden verkennen. Ik zou Diyawara aan iedereen aanraden. Bedankt!
