Somar Surf Lodge

The room was comfortable with great air conditioning. The hosts are very helpful. The vibe is very relaxed and quiet and the location is beautiful. However, the activities available were not as advertised in the listening and the location is very remote so there isn’t much to do. Great relaxing vacation!

On a adoré notre séjour ici ! On venait chercher du calme et du temps pour se retrouver en couple et c’était parfait. La piscine et le jacuzzi sont top et donnent directement sur la plage. Les personnes qui y travaillent sont aux petits soins et ont toujours une petite attention. On est restés 3 nuits mais on aurait pu rester plus longtemps

The surf lodge is very beautiful and you basically have your own private beach and break to surf. The owner and the staff (and Ricky, the guy who was volunteering during our stay) were all fantastic. It feels more like a resort than a hostel. Do mind that if you are serious about surfing it’s best to bring your own gear, since they only have one hardtop for rent. Also, there are no stores nearby so bring plenty of snacks. They have a restaurant on site though!

We loved this place! Planned to stay one night but ended up staying three. Beautiful property with pool and direct beach access, perfect waves for surfing. The dorm with double bed was great, and at $10 per person it’s amazing value. Super friendly host and tasty food (a bit pricey, but worth it). The road is rough, so best with a good car, but absolutely worth the trip!

El mejor lugar que e visitado en todo mi viaje la mejor bienvenida la mejor atención la comida espectacular todo muy limpio el staf muy amable el lugar súper bonito y tranquilo fue la mejor experiencia que e tenido y el gracias a Ariel es muy bueno persona siempre con una sonrisa y muy amable y Mariela y Oscar tienen un toque especial en la cocina muy deliciosa la comida y mi amigo gorge la mejor atención que e recibido muchas gracias por todo súper buena onda 🤙🏽

Beautiful position with a lovely pool right on the beach. Perfect for some quiet relaxation.

Everything was perfect - and Oskar made the best breakfast and especially pancakes ever! Thank you for everything. We stayed in the off season for 3 days and wanted a chilled not crowded place and we got paradise… everything there is so beautiful and the staff is really friendly and always there if you need something.
