Maresias do Leme Hostel

O hostel condiz com a anúncio. O único problema que tive foi com está plataforma (hosteworld), que não informou ao hostel sobre o meu pagamento, mas quando cheguei apresentei os comprovantes a eles e deu tudo certo, o pessoal foi super solicito. Eu amei minha estadia, fiz amizades e quase trouxe a Camila (a gatinha do hostel) embora na minha mala, uma querida!

Todo realmente fue increíble! Sin duda volvería al mismo hostel, me sentí como en casa❤️

Nice place, good commun area. Really like the friendly atmosphere (lot of brazilian tourist so nice to get to know the Brazilian culture). Beds are with curtains, wall plug and personal light. Cheap and good breakfast available. Nice neighborhood, easy access to the bus, Copacaban beach and small safe hike (forte duxes de Caques) but safe even at night with police just down the road.

Enjoyed my 4 night stay there. I was in a private room (big balcony, very comfortable bed!) rather than a dorm though shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. I liked the location, it's in Leme, at the end of Copacabana, a steep 5 minute walk up from the seafront area (but there are mototaxis always available to take you up if you don't fancy the walk). The hostel is next to a favela, but that didn't cause any issues. Staff were lovely. Kitchen is small but does the job. I'd happily stay again.

Hostel vraiment médiocre. Il est très sale, dans notre chambre une odeur affreuse et il faisait très froid avec la Clim. À savoir, il est situé dans une favéla. Les Uber et taxi peuvent monter (mais prendre un peu de marge avant de partir car beaucoup annule tout de même). Bref je ne vous le recommande pas.

Hostel was dirty and tired. Atmosphere was not great and you had to make your own bed. Wouldn’t recommend, stay at the hostel next door.

I wouldn't recommend this hostel. Filthy sheets (I was given one with what looked like blood stains), rude staff, not clean. Not worth the money they charge. The hostel is located in a hood/favela, which is an unsafe area overall. Its on a hill, a steep uphill climb if you are walking. Motor taxis (bikes) aren't allowed uphill in case you want to take that as your travel option through Uber or other taxi apps. You'd have to walk up and down the hill to get the motor taxi (bikes).

Perfectly located, only an 8 min walk to the beach!!! Kitchen is great! Curtains on beds provides privacy. And they have dogs and a super friendly cat!

Unsere Betten waren im Keller. Das Bett ist durchgebrochen und sie haben Ziegel untergelegt. Jemand hat auf einer Isomatte geschlafen. Die Matrazen waren Jahre alt komplett durchlegen. Die Kissen versifft. Ich bin echt nicht empfindlich. Es war furchtbar dreckig. Überall lag dreckige Bettwäsch. Viel zu wenig Duschen und Toiletten. Die Mitarbeiter haben Extra Gebühren verlangt wo keine sind. Es war das schlechteste Hostel in dem ich jemals war und das für 100€ die Nacht auf einer Matra...

Gregario and Gaston plus girl in the night shift (don’t know her name) are awesome as it was important for me to have English speaking hosts. Very friendly staff. Breakfast is but average though.
