Me agradeció mucho quedarme en la casa semilla. Parece como un jardín tropical con sus plantas y el lindo arte en la casa. Esta super bonito y familiar. Me gustó mucho, lo recomiendo🌺🌴💗

A super nice, centrally located hostel with an attentive host. No question was too much, and he was more than willing to help us, even while he was on vacation. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly. All in all, highly recommended! 😊

Schöne, gemütliche, sehr häusliche Unterkunft. Leider lädt der Außenbereich nicht wirklich gut zum verweilen ein und in der Küche gibt es nur eine Theke mit vier Hockern, keinen Tisch. Der Eingang ist sehr versteckt. Das Personal war super freundlich, aber spricht kein Englisch. Kaffee war leider nicht frisch und man hätte etwas häufiger die Räume kehren können.

Such a great hostel. Omar and the rest of the staff are LOVELY! Feels like staying at a friend’s house. Omar has great recommendations and discounts around the city. Great location with shops and restaurants very close as well as the beach. The kitchen is equipped for cooking and there is always coffee which is a great way to wake up. The outside area is great for relaxing and if you’re lucky you’ll see the little raccoon peek through on the patio. Rooms are comfy and clean.

Sehr gut gelegen, auch wenn es bei der Ankunft ein wenig schwierig war die Unterkunft zu finden, da sie nicht angeschrieben ist. Sehr herzliche Begrüssung und Atmosphäre, ich habe mich von der ersten Sekunde an super wohl gefühlt. Ausserdem läuft alles sehr unkompliziert ab und ich habe viele tolle Tipps und Unterstützung von Omar erhalten.

Vibrant cheerful hostel. Omar and his crew are the sweetest hosts. Good coffee in the morning. He made fresh fish dinner for the guests one night. Sadly I was too tired to join! Plenty of space in room with large lockers. Omar had some beach supplies available, and good recommendations for the area. He cares about his guests. I had a great experience here.

Me and my friend stayed in Semilla Guesthouse for 5 nights and we loved it! Omar, the host, is lovely and made us feel right at home from the beginning. In the house there is room for 8 guests, with whom you will share the bathroom and kitchen. Every few days you will get fresh bedsheets and towels. Location is perfect too. All in all it felt really nice to have a ‘home’ for a few days. Mostly because you can ask Omar for advice and tips for anything anytime, and you should!

A really good, cozy and nice hostel on a great location at Holbox. It is only small and that makes it very relaxed and personal, what I personally really like! Omar is truly amazing and helps with everything you need. Enough space in the dorms, a nice patio and fresh coffee every morning. There is only one bathroom but I didn’g experience problems with it. A great recommendation for a nice and relaxed stay at Holbox!

what an amazing hostel!!! the place is small and cozy, and has everything you need! omar was an amazing host, and his friends alta and sara were so sweet and kind to us, and were always there when we needed something or to give us local recommendations. the rooms and shared areas were always clean and organized. my friend and i were the only ones staying there during our time on the island and we felt right at home

The boss is so nice and verry welcoming . Thespot is verry cute , the location is perfect for the beach , bars , restaurants ... I recommend 100%.

Such a lovely hostel and Omar is an incredible host. He is always present and attentive. The rooms are clean and the location is very central, close to the beach and everything, also only 8min walk from the ferry. I really enjoyed it and will be back!

Llegar ahí es como llegar de visita a casa de algún familiar. Desde que llegas se siente la calidez. Si pudiera resumir mi experiencia en una sola palabra, sería hospitalidad. Nada me faltó estando ahí.

Beautiful, relaxed place filled with lovely people. 3 minute walk from the beach and even closer to the zocalo and busy streets. An amazing stay over Christmas. Thank you!

Maybe the best hostel I ever stayed at. Omar is amazing and so helpful. I would come back here anytime.

Omar is een superlieve gastheer en heeft erg veel passie voor zijn guesthouse en de tuin en locatie zijn geweldig. Je krijgt zelfs een handdoek:) Wat mindere kanten zijn dat de stapelbedden redelijk wiebelig zijn, er maar 1 badkamer is (wc+douche) voor het hele guesthouse en die was helaas niet erg schoon..

We stayed for 3 nights which was the perfect time. Small hostel which felt like family life. Omar is so nice and helpful: he gave us drybaga for our stuff, a lot of recommendations and even cooked us coffee in the morning. The air con in the room was nice but also necessary! Comfy beds and curtains and hot showers. The hostel can be social because its so small and feels like living with a family.

Super hostel! C’est une maison d’hôte qui peut acceuillir maximum 8 personnes. Ce qui en fait un lieu calme et convivial à la fois. Très propre et bien situé. L’hôte est très accueillant, serviable et de bons conseils.

I had an incredibly lovely time at Semilla Guest House. You feel at home with the owners right away. My luggage arrived late in Mexico and they helped me out with their own clothes. The place is calm and full of atmosphere. The owners know a lot about the island and help you with whatever you need. The accommodation is clean and has everything essential. In short, truly recommended!
