Hostal Carlos Luis

Nice place to stay in the historic center of Quito near la Calle Ronda, well-equipped kitchen, very friendly staff. You can ask them for anything and they will happily find an answer for you ! The cleanliness was okayish but the rest was blameless

Great location. Staff seem nice. Decent room, comfortable bed, electrical outlets, windows that open. Floor had been wiped but still had some large clumps of hair. Shower is pleasantly warm, though didn't drain well. There is wifi although the signal did not reach to my room. No real common areas, I didn't see any other guests. The building door is kept locked; to get in from outside there's a bell, but to get out from inside you have to run around looking for a staff member to open the door.

Everything is as shown in the pictures, the place is really well located to walk the Historic Center of the City which is the most popular/touristic area. Staff was nice and always tried to help with transportation, food recommendations and more. Price is more than fair for the room that I got. I’m really satisfied with my staying here.

Hostal Carlos Luis is a grateful place to stay in Quito, Ecuador. The staff were incredible and helpful, always able to collaborate anything that I needed. Comfortable place to stay. I recommend it!
