Secondo me se si ha poco budget e non si é ossessionati dalla pulizia é l’ostello perfetto!! 😀posizione ottima per il carnevale 😀personale gentile e disponibile 😀sicurezza TOP, sorveglianza continua ☹️si può pagare solo in contanti ☹️pulizia insooomma ☹️arredo molto vecchio (ad esempio materassi) Comunque nel complesso ci tornerei!

Old, dirty, unsafe neighborhood and not always possible to enter. Sometimes i had to wait for an hour for entry because there is no one at the reception.

An incredible experience, after reading negative reviews I was told by the owner that they had completed a massive refurb in response, where I was able to enjoy their sauna and steam rooms and indoor swimming pool. Brand new air con units all over the property kept me extremely cool my entire trip and there was a large amount of staff serving you 24/7, and the included resturant is also incredible.

El dueño es un miserable que se aprocecha de los turistas ok, me pedia la habitacion antes de que terminará la hora señalada ok. Los baños sin higiene ok. Los colchones de lo peor. No existen cargadores en el cuarto. Los ventiladores tenían llave. Exije el dinero con gritos quando uno paga. Se aprocech sobre todo de los turistas Europeos y su incapacidad con el idioma.

Absolutely horrible, horror movie setting. Came out full of insect bites, unsafe place and fire hazard with all the dated electrical wiring. Avoid like the plague

Hostel SALE ++++. Dortoir pour 6 qui doit faire 10m2 max, pas de fenêtre pour aérer, pas de clim. En dernier recours si 0 solution pour se loger. Obligation de payer en cash.

This is the worst hostel I've ever stayed at in my 6 months of travelling. The showers and toilets were filthy, the front door was left wide open onto the streets of Centro 24/7, I got there at night and the hostel owner told me I had to pay in cash, and when I told him I couldn't find any ATMs in the area that were working, he said I have to pay him by 11am the next day or he would throw my bags onto the street (I'm a solo female traveller). Way overpriced, avoid staying here at all costs.

You get exactly what the hostel advertises, which isn’t much. For the money, it’s a good value and I would recommend it if you are truly on a tight budget

Calling this place a prison would be offensive to prisons, I would rather rip my nails out than stay here again.

If you want to end up getting lung disease or burnt in your sleep due to overheated electrical outlets this place is ideal for you. Otherwise, abstain. And if you really have no choice, don't forget to renew your tetanus vaccine before staying here and... GOOD LUCK

Fernando e francisco são ótimos anfitriões!! Me senti segura e adorei a companhia e serviço de ambos, foi muito legal mesmo. A instalação é boa pra quem só precisa dormir, tomar banho e passar o dia fora durante a alta temporada e os preços ajudam, também é muito perto da praia do Flamengo. A internet funciona, a portaria é 24h, o chuveiro é gelado e tem poucas tomadas. Não é luxuoso, mas é otimo pro custo benefício. Fiz amigos muito bons e os anfitriões ajudam os hospedes...

Really the worst place I stayed in more than 1 year of travelling. The room smelled like feces, the bed had a wire poking my back and the general cleanliness is the bare minimum. The staff consists of two people who are completely overworked and cannot speak English. One staff members tried to fight with me out of the nowhere. Avoid as much as you can. This place is so funny that it still exists

honestly, it's not amazing in any way. but it's the most memorable place you'll ever go to. the facilities aren't great but you get what you pay for. but I've never been to a place that I will remember so fondly like I will remember this one. there is nothing nice to say about it, but that's exactly why I love it. it's not for the faint of heart, but it's charm is too great and it makes me ignore how terrible how bad the facilities are. I hate this place, but I love it even more

So. You want to go to Carnaval on a budget. All the other hostels charge $300 a dorm and this one is affordable! And it is! My expectations were low, but it was fine. I got a dingy little private which for Carnaval for 240 reals is amazing. The owner was a bit of a pill at first but he warms to you. Not as bad as some of the reviews say, but I brought my friends here because they were desperate too. If your expectations are low, you’ll be surprised!

Absolutely dire hostel. Filthy, overpriced and uncomfortable. We felt very unwelcome upon arrival, and were surprised to be told we had to pay in cash. This seemed dodgy. Toilets and bathrooms smelt foul. Bedsheets we’re unclean. And the beds themselves were like wooden boards. Felt very unsafe too, not sure who came and went from the hostel. The owner/manager was rude and unwelcoming and had pervy eyes for young women staying here. Do not go.

El hostal es tal como dice la descripción, es un lugar para mochileros y si solo buscas un sitio seguro donde dejar tus cosas y dormir por la noche. Precio-calidad muy recomendado. Muy buena ubicación para los carnavales. Y muy buen trato del personal. Acordarse llevar dinero en efectivo (que también lo avisan en la descripción). Gracias Hospedaría da Gloria por ser nuestro lugar para dormir durante los carnavales más increíbles!!!

A good place to stay in Rio de Janeiro for Carnaval due to its price. It’s safe with great staff, and is in a great location.
