obviously once a nice little hotel, but now in dire need of a top to bottom scrub down, so not for the faint of heart, but the great location and the ability of the staff to set you up with whatever you need and the low price make it well worth the
El trabajador que me atendió era un poco grosero pero es muy barato el alojamiento y de limpieza es bueno pero no excelente.
No WiFi on the 4th floor . Moved on after the first night
Best location in Aswan, right near the station and main market. Very safe, nice rooftop and friendly staff at a good price. My room had a smell but otherwise fine. The staff were the highlight here, they were incredibly helpful during my stay they helped me organise trips and also went out of their way to help return my lost property. Would highly recommend for any travellers
The overall rating does not match the reality. Check the individual ratings!!! Back pain from the mattresses is guaranteed. The shower and walls are so dirty that you feel disgusted. Bed sheets were dirty. Air conditioning and fan so loud you can't sleep with it on. I looked for another hostel after 6 hours. Although I had already paid for 2 days... Pro: The staff was friendly, the prices really not high.
Not good at all!! We are backpackers so we dont search confort. However: - blanckets haven't been changed. - WC was very very dirty. - the room wasn't clean at all. - the stairs were so dirty that we had to take the elevator. - the men at the reception stare at my girlfriend not in an uncomfortable way. - the breakfast was not included even if it is mentionned in the hosterworld's annonce. I'm not use to send bad comments, but in this case i felt i had to. This is a warning for other travelers...
It’s a good hostel for a within budget private room. WiFi wasn’t as great as I would’ve hoped but other than that it was a solid place to spend a few nights.
Yaseen Hotel/Hostel in Aswan is right next to the market, making it super convenient. I had my own room, not a dorm, and while the facilities are okay if you're used to traveling, my sink leaked but they fixed it right away. Charlie was awesome, helping us organize day trips like the amazing Nubian village on the Nile. The rooftop is a cool spot to relax, have a smoke, and overlook the city. Great experience overall!
A good place to be
Great place to stay. The staff is very nice and helpful. Very well-located.
The location is in Souq and near the Train Station. The facilities is limited as it a rock bottom budget hotel. You can har the train siren. Plenty of food shop nearby.
It was a terrible experience to stay in this hotel. Althought the pictures on the website are good the reality is very different. Everywhere is very dirty with trash on the floor and dust like no one has ever cleaned it. The bathroom wasnt clean, they were flies in the bedroom and the AC wasnt working. Only one thick blanket that is too warm. A place to avoid even if you are low on budget.
Friendly people excellent price, nothing to complain at this price.
Good location , not for the feint hearted
Staff were so helpful in organising the Abu Simbel trip/taxi so we didn't get ripped off. Very responsive to messages, lots of great tips on what prices we should expect. Right next to train station and within walking distance to several museums. There was no toilet paper but this might be due to a cultural difference, Egyptian toilets tend to have a hose that's used instead of toilet paper
Awful. Not clean at all. Rooms are all smoking rooms with the smell of cigarettes and dirty ashtrays. The mattress is so thin and the sheets were covered in holes and stains. Bathroom was just disgusting. Overall very dirty room, we didn't even stay here. Staff not very friendly and they tried to sell us a tour as we were leaving which was ridiculous.
Not very clean room, smelled of cigarettes, bed bugs you didn’t have to even look for, broken toilet, spelling of the hotel signs doesn’t match listing on website and there were three different markers for it on my map in different places which made it a little confusing to find. Staff ok but a bit pushy and confusing about trying to get me to book an Abu Simbel trip with them.
Our experience was disgusting. Our room didnt have toilet paper neither sheets in the bed and the pillowcase was dirty. The walls were dirty. There was water falling from the AC to my bed, só I couldnt even sleep in my bed. There was water on the floor, the ashtray was still with ash and the toilet was leaking from behind. I dont undestrand how this place is even available on the website. We ve been to cheaper hostels with uncomparable quality and cleanliness. An experience to forget.
