Vongkham Eco Village

… this place is closed. Honestly, I’m not sure why it is on here. Everything, and I do mean everything in the photo is broken. Bikes, chairs, place to watch the sunset, WiFi, everything. In theory, it could be a great place but unfortunately they still charged us full price. So including taxi’s to get to what we thought was going to be a very relaxing farm we paid $30 usd. I hope they take off this listing, fix it up, and try again but it’s AT LEAST 3 months out from being ready.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Vincent and Dui were the perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome. If you want a break from the travelling stress, you owe yourself a few days at Vongkham eco resort.

A good place to relax. There is a big garden with trees, seats, tables, a hammock and a place to make a fire. There is a nice atmosphere. At nightit is quiet you sleep well. There are cats too. The owners of this resort are very nice and helpful. It is possible to take a trip with a bike and there is a bus station located nearby the area if you want to visit the city. i have chilly and good memories about this place.

Had an absolute blast here! The owner is the chillest guy ever, always up for a chat and gave me tips where to go. Would really recommend this place if you need some distance from the usual backpacking hostels and just want to calm down and decompress. Also go get a motorbike to explore the surrounding areas, lots of fun!

We came for the good reviews, cheap stay, and outdoor venue. But we stayed for the amazing people, great energy, secluded environment and absolute peace and quiet! If you’re looking for somewhere to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, and find somewhere to decompress without anyone bothering you, this is your place! Great prices, and the owners are very polite with incredible hospitality!

I arrived at 4:20 in peaceful Vongkham. Great for the adventures backpacker who wants to relax on a farm away from te city. Use the songtew in direction of Tha Ngon and get out at the Ministry (huge white building). 15.000 kip I really enjoyed getting to know this family as they shared food with me ❣️ also great opportunity for me to read my book. Slow down + take your time + relax.

A great place to chill and relax. Getting a break from the break. Cool host and interesting family, that's running the place. It's worth going there!

The staff and space are lovely. The green curry we had was deeelicious. Be aware that if you book this resort it is ‘closed’. Because of this, the rooms are in a pretty bad state. My Friends bungalow had no working shower, bins were full on arrival and bathroom was filthy. My room was ok but still the bathroom not very clean. I am not somebody that usually cares about these things but for the price we paid as well I do not think it was very good value for money.

Idéal pour loger en dehors de Ventiane si on attend son visa comme moi! Petit havre de paix et bonne nourriture

Had a perfect time there, planned to stay 2 nights. Because of the chilled atmosphere 🍃and awesome personal and chilled guests I stayed almost 2 weeks. Don't worry about the beds, you can always pimp them up with extra blankets.
