Urban Hotel The Golden Stork

When I arrived there was someone in my bed and I had to ask staff to ask him to move. Thankfully staff was kind and didn’t have any issue. The shower ran out of hot water on the second day which sucked, and it was not contained by the small glass wall so water got everywhere. The lockers required a key which was not provided. Also that guy who was in my bed got move to the other side of the room and it was kind of awkward. The chill area was strange and often occupied by vagrants. Seemed unsaf...

Good value for money considering the prices for hotels in the center of The Hague were basically double, it’s very well connected (bus and tram stops super close by), checkin and out super easy. The walls are a bit thin so sound from hallway is super noticeable and from other rooms a bit as well. The sink had a clogged smell for the whole stay. All things considered, would stay again for sure.

Given the limited options for affordable accommodations in The Hague, this is a fairly decent option. However, the mattress cover and comforter were visibly dirty, and pillow case was missing. But, the sheets were clean, mattress was comfy, and staff later provided the pillowcase. While initially concerned about the location, the center was just a 20min tram away. Unfortunately there was no working kitchen, and the lockers provided had no key and was too small for an average travel backpack

I do not recommend staying here. The hostel is far from the centre that requires you to take a 30min tram and a ticket, and it is not very regular. For the same price you can stay in the centre of Den Haag. The hostel also charge you 20€ to access your bed earlier, even if the entire hostel is completely empty. I would understand this fee if the hostel was busy and it required someone to prepare a room for you, but charging an extra 20€ is too far and stingy.

Das Zentrum liegt ca. 4 Kilometer von der Innenstadt entfernt. Zum Glück kann man vom nahegelegenen Bahnhof gut hinfahren. Die küche war nicht gut eingerichtet. Es gibt außer eine heißluftfriteuse, einem Wasserkocher und einer Mikrowelle keinerlei Utensilien um mit der Herdplatte zu kochen. Zusätzlich war alles in der küche sehr dreckig. Nur zum Schlafen ist das Hostel gut, zum Kochen Katastrophe.

Good location for students to live for short stays, budget friendly place for students, very friendly reception desk to provide service to the customers at their level best.

I've been staying at the hostel for a week and I've been very comfortable. It's a quiet area and the staff are very helpful with anything you need.

El staff es genial. Fueron muy amables y me ayudaron un montón. Fueron más amigables y atentos de lo necesario. Me sorprendieron con su amabilidad y disposición por asistirme.

The room was nice and clean but the kitchen was unfortunately a disaster! It was really dirty and seemed like nobody really cared about that. Furthermore there were just a very limited amount of kitchen utensils, cutlery etc. Another thing is that the hostel is quite far from Den Haag City center, so one should keep that in mind before booking :)

Not very clean and no proper lockers to store your luggage in. There was also bad communication between staff since cleaners took my backpack from the room because they thought it was left behind by previous guest, could’ve been easily avoided if they had better lockers.

The hostel is not very welcoming. The linen were not clean and we were split up even though we booked all the rooms together

The Urban Golden Stork hotel is a good place to stay when traveling in The Hague. The dorm rooms are generally clean and spacious and the staff at the reception are very helpful and always available. Good customer service and value for money.

Okay for last minute but the lockers are too small even for a large carry on bag, I also didn’t get a key which was required to lock it since it wasn’t able to be locked with my own lock. The room had been cleaned because they were cleaning when I got there however it still left dirty. Clearly never mopped. The light switches were sticky. It smelled funny, and there was small blood stains and hair on my duvet inner and the pillow was yellowed. They gave me clean sheets and pillow case though

Expérience décevante, lieu sale (odeur d'urine et de tabac froid, weed) dans la salle de bain et chambre. Lits peu confortable, par contre linge de lit propre. Pas de casier assez grand pour une petite valise, plus de clefs pour les fermer... Très bruyants, bord de route, peu de restauration autour, au milieu d'une zone industrielle/bureau. Tram et gare proche. De plus, pour couronner le tout, nous sommes retrouvés dans une chambres avec des colocataires peu respectueux et bruyants.

The kitchen was very dirty with lots of flies and wasps and it was quite far from the city centre.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The kitchen was horrible. People left their dirty dishes everywhere which attracted flies and smelled very bad as well. People also smoked inside of the hostel and in our dorm as well. The only thing that was clean in our room was the bed. Wouldn’t stay here again

The 6 bed female dorm was nice, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. However, there were no lockers available because the keys were apparently taken away by previous guests. The cleaning staff took away our half-full groceries from the counter twice. There were also some other rude guests in the kitchen and the kitchen was very poorly equipped and dirty.

Ne paye pas de mine, Pas très sociale à première vue et ambiance froide et pesante dans les couloirs. Seule dans un dortoir de 6 personnes alors un peu inquiétant. Sinon bon matériel et équipement, un peu loin de la gare mais ok

Confortable beds, nice staff and good looking rooms. Only downside is that it's 30 mins from the city center
