Rooms/beds were spacious and comfortable, toilets/showers were clean and there is a little area for making coffee/snacks too. Not the most sociable hostel, but Khao Lak isn’t really the party vibe. I found it very relaxed and chill
Was a decent stay! I actually thought it had everything you needed but don’t stay here to be social — and don’t expect any bells and whistles. They didn’t even want to help me book transport. Snacks and coffee and free water were nice! Beds were comfy.
Very nice and cozy, rooms are big and clean, as are the bathrooms. The beds were super friendly and nice. I forgot my towel at the hostel before leaving for a 2 days trip. when I came back they gave it back to me washed and dried. Legends!
alléluia good and perfect
Extremely hard bed, literally same as sleeping on the floor, zero cushioning... Although the location is good, sleeping here is damaging your back, neck, posture
I dont know why it has such a low score, we loved it! Everything was clean, beds comfy, free water/coffee/snacks. Great location to the museum, 7 11, restaurants, night market and beach. Has fair prices for tours/bikes. We also met great people. Would definitely recommend, stayed 4 nights and were very happy with it. Liked that you could also control your own AC, plus had drying racks on the balcony. Only thing is staff arent really around much, but wasnt an issue for us.
ANTS. EVERYWHERE. Ants running around the entire room and bathroom and bed the whole time I was there. Other than that, great location, small but nice room, very hard bed. Would not recommend.
Perfect overnight stay to visit the Similan Islands. The hostel was amazing at organising the tour for us, which was at a great price (2500 THB, for a service that if bought from the tour operator is over 3000 THB) and which we loved. It offers something similar for the Surin islands, which we did not do due to time.
Free drinking water and coffee and tea. Comfy beds. Good location, near the night market, pharmacies and 7-Eleven and other useful places nearby. Not the most social of places. Clean bathroom and bedrooms.
Nice, basic hostel. Don’t expect too much though. It’s not very social.
No atmosphere but clean and comfortable for a night
Nice hostel, very quiet and not the most sociable of places but I would recommend if your looking for more of a chill out space. I had a nice stay! Hostel was clean and there was a lovely Burmese restaurant just on the the corner!
A very small hostel, great location as it was next to a 7/11 and night market, only a 15 minute walk to beach. Staff were attentive. Unfortunately, our shower did not drain and when mentioned to staff, they didn’t fix it while we were there. Coffee and tea provided. Beds were hard but comfortable.
stayed one night here. I met with the staff but he seemed to not be in a good mood and was very short with me and didn't want to talk. there are no curtains either. no privacy
It's a nice and cozy hostel. It's located right next to the tsunami Museum and only across the street from Bang Niang night market. The walk to the beach takes around 15 to 20 minutes, depending on which beach you choose. The room also had a small balcony to dry clothes and towels. The hostel provides snacks, water and a fridge. You can also rent motorbikes or book trips. The only thing is that there are no curtains on one side of the bed, so there is not a lot of privacy.
Fine for a one night stay - but the beds don’t have curtains, which I think is a bit unfortunate… otherwise, good location and nice staff. Not the best hostel I’ve stayed in, but would probably stay again, for just one night
Overall a nice hostel :) clean, secure & friendly staff. Not the most sociable hostel but if you’re looking for somewhere to relax then this is a great option.
Clean hostel, with comfortable beds. Hosts were helpful, advising bus times etc. There isn't much privacy in the rooms (no curtains on the beds), but I think I was the only person in the entire hostel so this wasn't a problem when I stayed!
