Pelangi Capsule Hostel

Vraiment dégueulasse, la cuisine archi sale, la salle de bain j'en parle même pas, une odeur de urine... personne pour m'accueillir, j'ai pas vu une seule fois quelqu'un qui travaillait ici, obligée de payer en cash à une fille qui séjourne dans l'hostel et qui a presque l'air d'habiter là. La capsule fonctionne mal, la porte ne ferme plus à clef, si tu fermes la porte tu ne sens pas la clim qui est dans le dortoir, un vrai four... et absolument aucune ambiance, j'ai croisé 1 seule perso...

Disappointed. The staff operate entirely through WhatsApp so I didn’t see a single staff member in my two nights there which made check in a bit stressful. There is very limited social area and everyone keeps to themselves, bathroom was pretty dirty and not near my room, no security to get in building but pods are secure for sleep but no baggage storage so bring padlocks! Fine for a cheap night stay to go into Singapore which is what I did, only positives was great aircon and pod security.

Hi - do not recommend. Someone tried to get into my pod at 1am. The place was unclean with ants, flys and dirt everywhere. The vibe was entirely chilling.

i spend one night only thing I like the capsule bed was good enough, I had difficulties to do check in by hostelworld the staff work by WhatsApp and he asked me to pay by card visa and I have no idea about how I could do that? I get sick that morning cause of the hot water there is no could water 🤢

Was ist denn das für ein Drecksloch? Ekelhafte Unterkunft wirklich. Ich würde es gerne vereinzelter beschreiben aber eigentlich kann man wirklich sagen! alles war eklig. Geht bloß nicht hierher. auch die Gestalten die hier so rumhängen sind wirklich strange...

Like other reviews: dirty washroom with insects etc... If it was cleaned more often the hostel would have much better reviews. THe capsule bed is a fun experience with lights that you can chance the colours and ventilation speed etc. The location is not very good because its far from the "center" but the Grab is cheap anyway. Good value for money if you plan to go to singapour and not pay 50€ minimum for the cheapest bed there

Très bof ! Mais super pratique pour ne pas payer les nuits à Singapour. Attention: la ville est connue pour ses voleurs!

la capsule est une bonne expérience, les personnes a l'acceuil sont vraiment très gentil est le prix est plutôt bas. Cependant ces toilette était invivable ! sa sentait tout le temps mauvais des cheuveux et poil partout, du sang sur le bord de la cuvette. J'ai eu l'impression d'être encore plus sale après ma douche.

It’s an alright place for a couple days if you’re on a budget

Overall would not recommend. Capsules are okay and clean. No proper lockers provided. Only two bathrooms for more than 20 capsules. The bathrooms seemed always dirty. They have a small and dirty kitchen, but okay for microwaving food. Small bugs like ants walk around there everywhere. There is no social life, more like locals living there to work. No reception, check-in with WhatsApp. Even there unfriendly staff that doesn’t seem to have time to help. Go to another hostel if possible!

Decent value hostel for JB. I barely talked to the staff and it wasn't very social, but the pods were clean and convenient. Not much space for storage though, and if you have a bicycle they'll make you store it outside.

Honestly not worth the money saved, I didn’t feel save or comfortable, and it was disgusting and smelly everywhere; ants crawling on the floors and really disgusting bathrooms. I didn’t even see the staff, so overall a really bad place to stay.

Interior capsule is very nice, clean n cosy, but anything outside is really very run down n old especially the toilets. The steps to upp deck capsule is very noisy n flimsy, and capsule is not sound proof at all, can heard ppl coughing, walking even from Nex door, these areas need to improved, then it'll be perfect 5*, overall for very short stay it's okay,
