Easy Lodges Berlin

Overall a great hostel! The private room with heater and fan was very nice, I appreciate the privacy that most hostels do not offer. The shared bathroom and shower spaces are cleaned at least 5 times a day which is very good. This only made this hostel cleaner than most hostels I have stayed in before. The location is between two U Bahn lines which makes it very convenient to get around Berlin quickly. The staff are very kind people and multilingual.

Easy lodges was a wonderful, comfortable stay. More like glamping than a traditional hostel experience. It was very quiet, comfortable and located in a pleasant area. You must check in during hours of reception, and usually they don’t answer the phone.

Rooms: separate bungalows in what feels almost like a tropical area with lots of greenery. I had a double bed, shelf, chair, tiny table, one electrical outlet, a medium size window and two small windows. No complaints. Somehow another guest ended up with a copy of my key and entered unannounced. Staff assured me this was an anomaly. Great location, nice staff. I arrived at 9P no prob. Facilities are 50 - 100 meters away. Short walk to subway to Alexanderplatz sights. Would stay here again.

terrible place

This is the worst accommodation in my life. The role of heater can be totally ignored. I need to wear all my clothes and use duvet to keep warm. The male toilet is dirty. I even saw the urinal was full. During sleeping at about 3am, the water was leaked from ceiling. I have taken some photos to prove it. The toilet is far away from my room. It takes me 1 to 2 min to get to the toilet in cold, like the rural area 30 or 40 years ago. If you want to experience the life in the past 30 years. Welcome

Neat little boxes that you get to stay in. The staff is accommodating, the facilities are clean. The location is close enough to anything you would need. I think this is a good place to stay if you are in Berlin for any period of time.

Shares rooms were disgusting, private space was fine.

Stayed here for a few days and absolutely loved it and found the concept quite unique! Always nice to have your own space and the “cabin” was cozy, with comfortable beds and bedding. The staff very helpful and friendly. Clean and great location. Will be here every time I come back to Berlin!

Der Raum war sauber, die Matratze gut, es war angenehm warm. Die Ausstattung ist minimal, aber ok. Es wäre schön, es gäbe noch eine kleine, weniger helle Lichtquelle, wenn man noch lesen will, aber nicht diese grelle Deckenlampe an haben will. Ansonsten prima für diesen Preis.

The security was very low, the gate that was supposed to keep trespassers out barely closed at times. There was also a fence that connected directly to the street that stood open. We found traces of BED BUGS, inky marks on the walls furniture and ceiling. The cube was either freezing or very damp and moldy spots formed on our door. The room felt dirty when we moved in but the bed was made. The bathrooms, showers and kitchen areas were not super clean but okay.

Overall the hostel is good for its price. We really liked the location and the cubicles is one of a kind when it comes to hostels. To be able to go directly outside is really nice during summer time and early autumn, it really adds to the experience! When it comes to the not so good aspects we experienced that it was pretty humid in the cubicle of you didn’t air it out and it wasn’t that clean either. For us, the wifi barely worked when we shut the door, which also was a bad aspect. When it ...

Didn’t like the place, the Wi-Fi didn’t work at all, the shared places like the bathroom and showers were so dirty and the were a lot of mosquitoes in the room.

The cabin was nice but the bathrooms weren't clean at all. The smell of mildew was horrible and the showers could use some cleaning. The hours for access to the kitchen does not make it accessible for making dinner if you plan to eat any later than 7. If the cabin was 10 euro cheaper per night it might be worth it but I won't be staying here again.

Pros: friendly, accommodating staff, clean and equipped common kitchen. Negative points: the kitchen closes much too early, the smell of the sanitary facilities is continuously unpleasant, the evacuation of the showers is out of service we must use a material to clean ourself, the rooms are very dusty/cold and if you go there in the summer know that you must not be sensitive to the screams/noise of young people who come home late at night. Im Sommer geht es ja… aber in den anderen Jahreszeiten wird es wohl nicht einfach zu heizen sein. Isolation ist gleich Null… Wenn man schon den Nachbar niesen hört…
