Sky Hostel Helsinki

Leider war das Hostel eher dreckig und veraltet. Die Fotos auf der Webseite stimmen auch nicht mehr überein wie es ist echt aussieht. In der Toilette riecht man Schimmel und im Zimmer gibt es Flecken an Wänden,Decken und Böden. Die Dusche ist okay. Für Backpacker eher nicht geeignet da es sehr unsozial ist und wir eigentlich nur komischen Lauten Männern und Erwachsenen Frauen begegnet sind. Für das Geld ist es okay aber der Laufweg zum Zentrum ist etwas länger. Es gibt vor Ort auch ...

Everything was dirty. The sheets, the floor, the beds, the walls, the floor, the windows. The windows couldn't even open, but the heating couldn't be turned of, so we were cooking. The fridge made a sound so obnoxious we couldn't sleep.

Only problem was sound insulation from the other room OR ventilation duct ! Half a night music ( propably party ?) sound was too loud in the room of mine.. Cause didn't got a sleep trying to listen where it comes in the floor corridoor, could hear it any more.. just a bad luck with my room location I pressume - Got a feeling that Hostel was a quite ampty, so maybe you could advice to local staff do the sound check in Sky hostel Helsinki 11th floor room 10 ? Otherwise great value for a money ..

Just for 1 to 2 nights good place to stay.

Arriving at the hostel it was almost impossible to find. There was not a single sign anywhere indicating that it was Sky Hostel and I felt extremely uncomfortable and upset. I had prepared all the papers beforehand and had seen no mention of this. Luckily in my panic I checked my phone and realised I had received a new email that same day, giving this information. The vibe of the whole place was really creepy and I felt unsafe whenever I left my room, which btw wasn't clean.

The building has no signage indicating that sky. Hostel is located within. Thankfully, a nearby pub employee was able to direct us to the right location.

Parfait pour une/deux nuits ! L’accès est super simple, les chambres sécurisées et propres (de même pour les douches et les wc) Seul couak, un peu loin du centre (comptez une 30aine de minutes à pied) mais sinon très bien desservie avec une supérette en face ! Je recommande cette auberge qui nous est revenue à 50€ la nuit pour une chambre privatisée avec deux lits !

Veramente sporca

Il n'y a pas de staff, pas de réception, personne à qui s'adresser en cas de problème, à part un numéro de téléphone... La chambre était satisfaisante avec un frigo presque moisi et qui sentait pas bon. Les sanitaires étaient corrects. Auberge non loin du centre à pied (entre 15-20min à pied). Suffisant pour une nuit ou deux.

There’s no reception or staff at the property except for a cleaner sometimes. I’ve stayed in multiple hostels in multiple countries and have never stayed in a room so dirty before. The beds were covered in human hair and there was live bugs everywhere in the room. There’s also no atmosphere/ socialness and it’s a really eerie and unwelcoming feeling in the hostel. Luckily i was staying with a friend this time as if I was solo I would’ve felt worse

The room that was shown in the picture was not at all. We had selected a double bed and we got a single single two beds A single single bed was cheap and a king bed was expensive. We paid for a king bed and got a single single bed as a gift

that there was no staff at the hostel itself was a suprise at first but it all worked out well since we were sent the codes beforehand. Finding the hostel on the eleventh floor of the skyscraper was a bit confusing and the elevators in the building were a bit spooky. But the hostel itself was nicely organised, clean and perfect for a short stay. however if you are looking for the social enviroment of a hostel this is probably not the place for you but for us it was absolutely suficient!

Het hostel is niet bepaald gezellig. Heb met niemand ontmoet en er was geen personeel.

This is just a motel with shared bathrooms. I don’t know how this even qualifies as a hostel. No staff onsite. Completely asocial. Smelled really strongly of smoked salmon in my room as if the smell from the next door’s fridge was coming through? Neighborhood is fine, the main redeeming quality is that it’s right next to Kulttuurisauna.

Good location and if you are just looking for a room for a day or two, this is a good alternative. Kitchen was a bit unclean with many ants walking all over the table. Toilets and showers were ok.

A perfect hostel for sleep ONLY! The rooms are quite clean with cutlery, a fridge and a microwave. The kitchen, showers and toilets are very dirty.

Difficult to find. Very dirty. Hairs all over the bed and room. Bed and bed sheets covered in yellow and brown stains.

Good price, easy to get to. Calm place really. Kinda what I was expecting.
