St. Kilda Accommodation

La ubicación buenísima, el hostel bien si tan solo fuese como las fotos. La cocina parecía limpia y equipada y nos encontramos con algo completamente distinto. Mugre, suciedad. Siempre estaban todos los platos sucios y no solo por los huéspedes sino que en los cajones y lo estantes había grasa acumulada de hace años. No había tenedores ni cucharas. 2 platos. la gente comía de la ollas y on cucharones de cocinar. Decadente de ver. Si tan solo mejoraran la limpieza y prolijidad del lugar!...

if there was an option to give a zero rating i would have given it. The worst hostel i have ever been to in regard to cleanliness etc. The rooms dont have a window so you can imagine what it smells like. It’s dirty in all common areas. The staff is also very shady and hides information about the manager. I left the hostel before even staying a night. Unless you’re really on a budget i would strongly suggest to look for another place, you’ll thank me later!!

Very dirty, originally booked for 3 nights had to leave after 2 nights. Would not recommend to anyone.

The hostel is extremely basic and if that’s all you want then it’s fine. I personally as a solo traveller didn’t feel very comfortable/safe here

This place was managed terribly. The poor cleaning woman did everything and it still wasn't enough. If the cleaners were payed, rather than just giving them the accomodation, maybe there would be more interest in cleaning the place. More staff are needed and should be present for more of the day. The receptionist was rarely there, and many trespassing incidents occurred. People were smoking in the rooms, and my bed had weird brown streaks on the wall next to my face.

It is beyond me how this place has such a high rating on here. I have learned my lesson to ALWAYS check the rating on Google as well before booking, especially if the price seems too good to be true, because that would've clued me into how mediocre this place is. It's not terrible, their security is okay since every guest has a key code to get into both the building and their dorm and they do have a kitchen, showers, bathrooms, lockers and beds to sleep in. I only stayed 1 night and checked in after dark but the communication was great and I had no problem accessing the dorm & my allocated bedroom. Nice work guys. :)

St Kilda Accommodation represents an excellent choice for those wanting to fully experience the authentic spirit of Melbourne. For the money that I paid, it was a great stay. In saying that, the dorm I stayed in was very stuffy and hot. But for a last minute stay so I could get to an appointment at The Alfred, the hostel was perfect. Although I did get bedbug bites. But the aircon worked well

I didn't like the environment

If I could give negative stars, I would. Just terrible. Dirty sheets, staff is only on-site 10 am - 4 pm, no response to voicemails or emails. Both nights we stayed only 3 of the 4 beds in the dorm were provided bedding, despite repeated requests. A guest who had checked out stayed and slept in the lobby, and prevented other guests from entering. Totally unsafe and unacceptable.

Absolutely disgusting toilet conditions. Only one toilet facility with just two cubicles for all men in the entire hostel, It is clear that the bathroom is not cleaned routinely

À FUIR !!!! Nous avons séjournez pendant 3 nuits dans cette auberge et comment vous dire que ce fut la PIRE expérience de notre vie. Les douches sont très sales (pour ne pas dire un autre mots) ,l’auberge est INSALUBRE, les toilettes, cuisine sont sales et ne parlons pas de la chambre :les matelas sont en plastique, la chambre est remplie de poussière , il y a de grosses araignées au plafond, un criquet dans la bouche d’ahération..le ménage n’est jamais fait et je ne parle pas des ...

Great place for the price paid, absolutely no complaints from me

Humidity was too high. Bathrooms didn't have locks and there were towels lying on the floor the whole time of my stay. Beds had plastic sheets under regular sheets. The common ares needed much more cleaning.

hostel nearly caught fire due to a lithium battery overheating, no staff or receptionist on site, took the owner 30 minutes to arrive to the scene. DO NOT STAY

Aucun personnel, seulement 2 douches, une cuisine minuscule et des lits pas confortables. La ruelle dans lequel ce trouve l’hostel n’est pas rassurante surtout le soir !

hostel situé dans une ruelle, accès assez simple donc pas sécurisé, pas de personnel, les douches sont relativement propre, mais je déconseille cet hostel
