Awful,No 7 Ardconnel Terrace 6 males,(credit cards not accepted "Imtaiz Ali Lettings" personal account(not business account) Could not gain access to property at No7 only text message communication to Landlord(Ali +447770775824) told to go to next property at No9 which we could enter. 2 bedrooms with each with 1 single, 1 double in each room..no towels provided, then message to say boiler broken no hot water stank on sewerage,awful,badly maintained Ali agreed 50% refund but broke his promise.CUN
The location was very handy for the train station, the room and shared kitchen were fine, nothing special. However the frustrating issue was a lack of heating or hot water. We did arrive at 9pm but were told that the host would be available by phone. We were given the fix 5 minutes before we left in the morning at 8. Very disappointing to not be able to shower after our long travel. Also the bathroom had hairs / woodlice.
Le verrou de la chambre etait défectueux, il fallait jouer pour le fermer. Nous ne nous sommes pas senti en sécurité. La propreté des parties commune est à revoir. Des araignées, Des toiles de poussière… Pas de prise de courant dans la chambre. Le mail reçu tombe directement dans les spam laissant penser à un faux mail.
Location is great, but the rest was kind of a mess. I couldn’t keep my window open, I definitely did not feel safe at night and the staff was very unfriendly as well. My fire detector wouldn’t stop making an awful noise and when I complained I did not get an excuse, but a very rude staff member. We argued a good 5min over the phone because I was told it’s gonna be „a couple of HOURS“ to fix. I told the staff member about the dysfunctional hours prior and nothing happened. Bad experienc...
They sent us the wrong code, we couldn't get in and they didn't answer any of the 3 phone numbers that they provided (nor WhatsApp), we were able to get in until the other guests asked us to try their code in our lock. The heater didn't work the first night. The shower is inside the room and changes water temp randomly every minute or so, AND shower cover is 100% transparent so no privacy when showering, the 'private' WC for our room was outside our room in a space of about 80cm x 115cm. S***** PLACE TO STAY. Wet, moldy bathroom with snales. (Stays wet) Dusty appartment. Old furniture. Small beds. Broken windos. Broken fridge. Nasty coocking tools. Very good location.
Service is very substandard, even for a budget place. Layout of room 2 is terrible...
It was cozy and safe. So close to everything, including the train station. I would definetly stay there again the next time I am in Inverness.
WiFi is not working, kitchen is smelly, key box code is wrong whether takes hour to contact under the rain. Bad experience!
We only stayed one night. All place was clean. Self check-in with no staff present involves getting your own key from a minilocker. Kitchen with electric kettle was useful. Wi-Fi didn't worked but we didn't need it, they promised to check it (we left before that). I could feel some coils on the matress, but not uncomfortable after laying evenly on it. It's very near train and bus station, although climbing the Market Brae Steps to get there with luggage is annoying. Best for the money.
It was what we expected for the most part, but it was very cold and the wifi didn't work for half the time we were there. There were also many insects (spiders, mosquitos, slugs), and the beds were quite springy.
The check in process required calling a number left on a hand written note, texts, emails, and an address change before even getting inside. The whole thing felt very sketchy and unsafe. Getting towels was a similar process (we had to go outside to the original address to get them) - there are no staff onsite. The room was minuscule, the towels smelled like they had sat wet for too long before being washed, and we heard every noise in the building.
No heat-we we’re freezing. Had to leave and find a much more expensive place to stay.
very comfortable and quiet, the area was super nice/safe and very very close to the city center. had our own room and shared bathroom, kitchen & washer. everything was very clean and nice. there was nobody to check in with but the self-check in was easy enough and we were provided with clear instructions. only issues were the mattress (could feel every spring) and the water in the shower was extremely hot and we could not make it any colder. besides that, it was very nice! overall good stay.

Try to avoid Room 2 if you can. There was a lingering smell of urine, which came from the hall but it was very evident in the room, so we had to leave the window open at all times. We complained and the host came over with fabric freshener to spray on the curtains/carpet floor, however he wasn’t able to identify the smell. Overall, we had a nice stay. The location was great and having access to the shared kitchen was a bonus. Over half of the metal supports of the bunk bed were missing risking our 16-year old falling onto his sister in the bottom bunk. It was also creaking a lot. The online description refers to secure bicycle storage but there was none and we had to store our bikes in our room. Window could not be locked and had to be wedged open with a wooden block to allow some ventilation.
Le principe du self service sans aucune présence est très moyen. Quasiment pas de vaisselle dans la cuisine commune (3 bols, 4 tasses..) alors que le lieu peut accueillir jusqu’à 8 personnes. Enfin, la cabine de douche est dans la chambre sans paravent ni même un rideau opaque et les toilettes dans le couloir.
The shower was way too hot, we couldn't adjust the temperature. Not clean, no mirror. Overal impression was not so good. Closing of doors of other guests made quite some noise. Contact with staff was only by email. We haven't spoken to anyone.
There was a horrible smell in room no.2 because there is a shower inside the bedroom and the pipes or what smells in the room. The window was hard to open and impossible to lock. The room was on the groundfloor so we were afraid sb. could get in. View from the window was on the rubbish bins. The toilet was in an extremely narrow space. The staff was trying to clean the shower but it did not help, the smell remained. I think they should not accommodate people in this room at all.
