STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Even if you are on a tight budget, it’s not worth it. Don’t be mislead The place is dirty, poorly ventilated and dark, you will be sharing room-house with long term tenants. Bedrooms are crowded with belonging of the long term residents. Owner communicated only to collect her money, then she never returned calls or texts, she’s video watching every move inside the house. I have stay in hostels around the world, and this was worse experience.
Pamela is super friendly and attentive person, the house is organized, have rules that I appreciate to well being of all guests, I really recommend
I stayed overnight & left early. The owner is very conscious of security so it’s definitely very safe. It seems to have more long term guests though, so I wouldn’t recommend for more than 1 night. It’s about 25$ in an Uber from the airport, so very convenient for early flights. The mattresses had plastic covers which was very weird and loud for sleeping. The bed linen was also very basis. The AC is automated & loud and cold. Only an issue if you’re not big on AC. Ok for 1 night
The host Pam was very warm, welcoming & informative along with other guests. The location is very convenient & I would recommend other solo travelers to stay here for a short stay.
The owner is a realy stressed person. She also dont pick up calls. 1 hour before checkput she tell you on a stressed way that you have to check out at 11. You can be cleanest person ever yet she complains. Was my last day but i couldnt leave the luggages even pn hostelworld is stated that it is possible with payment. There are other great hostels in miami where you can stay with realy nice people like the viajero hostel which i recommend.allways smiling face.
Very safe, convenient, and helpful staff.
Really great people, I felt so comfortable staying there! The only thing to consider is that you will need an hour bus the bus to get to Miami Beach, but it was worth it for me… It’s more like an shared apartment, everyone was so nice to me :) I would definitely stay there again!
Too bad there isn't a star. How to start? The person in charge of the house (since this is NOT a hostel, it is a house with old, unsafe, uncomfortable and rusty bunk beds) is extremely rude and rude. You feel like an intruder and watched 24/7. If you want to rest minimally, you won't be able to, since the bed is uncomfortable. I opted to sleep on the couch to wait for dawn to check out and the manager took off the sheets and roughly took a photo of me and she just told me 'check out!!!!!'.
I love staying here! It was my second time at this hostel and i enjoyed it. It felt like home. Thanks to Pam and Pam for it. Pam helped me a lot, everyday i stayed here, her presence was warming and she was so sweet. I’m hoping i can coming back again soon. Thank you guys ❤️
Very kind host, however not exactly as expected. Bathrooms were pretty dirty with a lot of hair and dust on the floor, which is a particular turnoff for me, but the host was accommodating with my late arrival, aside from a $15 additional fee which I found a little high. Seems like she runs the place alone so I can understand the inconvenience. Communication was fairly difficult with the lady that got my booking—only reachable by text with no regularity, but it all worked out. Thank you!
Not far walking distance from the design district. I’m grateful for the girls I met inside the hostel but I wouldn’t stay there again. I was expecting more the hostel experience with activities, etc. The owner micro manages your every move with the cameras inside the house and comes off to be rude if you make a mistake. Make sure you are perfect human. As an Entrepreneur I don’t expect for other adults to feel like they have control over you.
Casa Rosa was great! It was in a very nice area and I loved the vibe of the house. It was super cute and comfy and everyone was very nice there and the hostesses were great at helping you and making you feel comfortable. I loved that it was a women's space.I had seen some complaints about it but the overall house seemed clean to me, I think you cannot expect it to be as an hotel because it's a place where people live;maybe I'd just say the toilets' cleanliness could have been better. Ty so much...
Lovely place to stay. Warm and welcoming
To start with the positive, the staff are friendly and organized. Security features include cameras outside and in every room, except the bedrooms and bathrooms. The property is also brightly lit outside after dark. But you get what you pay for. I personally did not plan to sleep here, I used the bed for bag storage and the space to relax during a long layover. For me, I would not have been comfortable had I needed to stay overnight. Ideal if you're desperate on a tight budget, but that's it...
