Peter Pearl's Guest House

This place was filthy and the bottom floor was filled with unorganised stuff (rooms are on the top floor). No aircon. A lot of ants and wasps. Peter was helpfull; but when he booked a taxi for me to get the ferry it was half an hour late and I almost lost the ferry. I cannot imagine why this property has an overall 10 rating - must be an error in the system. I am definitely not going back.

Peter & Annie were superb hosts and very helpful with all our requests. A great location in a lovely old colonial building. There is a bit of renovation going on and we are sure it will be tip top when it is done.

When the local taxi driver dropped me off and saw the state of the property they immediately worried about my safety. There were dead cockroaches in the bathroom while the bedroom had holes in the wall and a dilapidated floor. When I expressed how I felt unsafe staying at the property and how they falsely advertised the owners became enraged and physically dangerous. The police had to be involved for me to get safely get my luggage and leave.
