The Living Room Siargao

I really enjoyed staying there. It is quite (not real social) and perfect to escape the noise from the town!

Emplacement calme mais peu pratique sans scooter. Accès en pente difficile avec bagages. Peu de services : pas de laundry, petit-déjeuner ni cuisine. Sanitaires très incommodants (odeur forte de produits). Photos non récentes, auberge vieillissante. Très calme, peut-être trop.

Pros: Surrounded by rice fields, feels like Ubud, cool layout and the art adds to the decor. Super helpful staff. Cons: Location is not great as it's isolated, and need to cab/scooter to anywhere. Also down a mud rd which is very dark and then the entrance is very steep. Also the "Owner" lives in a room above the common area and hosts dinner parties with guests. But it seems he only hosts private room guests, not the dorm folk and was very rude to me multiple times

Die Lage ist ganz gut, vor allem, wenn man es etwas ruhiger mag. Mit dem Roller oder selbst zu Fuß ist es nicht weit ins Zentrum von General Luna. In der Nähe ist ein super cooles Café, in dem ich ganz viel Zeit verbracht habe (Shanti Shanty). Die Mitarbeiterin Ezra ist soooo lieb und nett. Im Grunde war es sauber, aber manche Sachen sind ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen. Ich muss sagen, die Bilder sehen um einiges schöner aus als es in echt aussieht.

such a homely hostel. the beds were the comfiest i’ve ever had. Ezra was so lovely and helpful with booking anything. super clean. is tiny hostel so don’t expect lively atmosphere. is very slightly out the town, about a 15 minute walk.

Once again, I love The Living Room. It has been the most enjoyable stay in Siargao that I have stayed twice. The rooms are comfortable and clean and there is a kind woman alongside Ezra who manage the place and keep everything tidy. Ezra is lovely and helped me so many times. The staff alongside the atmosphere and aesthetic are great! Just a bit farther out, but with scooter it’s all good. Thanks again!

Super chill, very beautiful and lovely staff. Everyone was so nice and there was always this super cute baby cat named sugar around. Loved it!!

The living room is so beautiful, it attracts liked minded people and the hosts are so so sweet and helpful and social. Great to be so close to town but far enough away from the chaos, very comfortable beds and actual fluffy blankets. Have stayed there twice already haha will be going back

The Living Room is such a beautiful place to stay. The hospitality from Ezra is unmatched, she is so kind and helpful and will go out of the way to assist you in any way. This is the best place I’ve stayed in Siargao and decided to come back. I would definitely recommend!

10/10, had an amazing 2 week stay at the Living Room. Real nice friendly vibes, clean rooms & facilities, and just a short drive to the town. Thanks to Norman & Ezra for looking after us and being such great hosts. 🍷

Super schönes Hostel. Toll eingerichtet und super schöne Atmosphäre. Personal war auch super nett. Wäre sehr gerne länger dort geblieben!

Fantastic hostel

One of the best stays I’ve had traveling so far. The owner Norman is great and so hospitable. The Living Room is a great space for being in General Luna but a bit away from the chaos. Only part that made this not a 10 was the bathrooms smell a bit

The Living Room is an extraordinary place to stay! In the midst of the architecturally beautiful and very clean hostel that holds many treasures ready to discover, it’s above all the staff that make this hostel stand out. Both through the friendly welcome of Ezra on the day of arrival, interesting conversations with the owner Norman or the subsequent aperitivo evenings, I felt through and through very well. I would recommend The Living Room to any of my friends and will definitely come back!

We loved the living room! Very clean rooms, a lot to discover and to hang around and quite but central location in GL! Norman, the owner, makes this place feel like home. He threw a dinner party during our stay, so much fun. And not to forget the yummy coffee and the good chats with Ezra in the morning. We warmly recommend staying here, enjoy!

The water line is always off or not working (broken). Water is more important than electricity. I skipped 2 morning surfing session because of their water problem. The place is also not well maintained. It’s a bit dirty.

C'est un endroit spécial. Je devais rester 3 nuits, je suis finalement restée 9 nuits. Déjà car le logement en lui-même est magnifique et très agréable. Le dortoir est très spacieux et bien agencé. Mais ce qui me restera en mémoire c'est surtout l'ambiance de l'endroit. J'y ai fait des rencontres inoubliables et y ai passé d'extraordinaires moments. Norman le propriétaire est très sympathique et Tessa, la réceptionniste est tout simplement parfaite.
