Good clean hostel with a daily walking tour as well as free beer in the evening which is a good way to meet other travellers. The hostel staff helped to arrange the Ha Giang Loop for me which was appreciated.
Old Quarter View Hanoi Hostel is the best place to stay if you’re traveling in Hanoi. This was my first time traveling solo and I’m so glad I chose to stay there. There are lots of activities that bring people together and that’s how I met all my friends. Thank you to Nancy for being so kind and for always taking care of me. If you have any questions, Nancy will be happy to help.
The hostel is located right in the center of the Old Quarter, bathrooms are nice, breakfast is not included, there isn’t much of a vibe in the only communal area (the reception/breakfast and bar area), and I felt like the bed sheets were not cleaned properly as they felt greasy. On top, lack of privacy due to the curtains not closing fully
This place was a great hostel to stay at. The staff was super helpful. Lee and Shelly made me smile every day. I really have no complaints except for I wish the 2nd floor lounge had couches instead of the bean bags. All in all it was a great experience, there is someone to help you 24-7, it is also a social hostel but not a party hostel which makes it easy to meet friends.
Really nice hostel! Staff were friendly and helpful, beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Not overly social vibe but very chill and in the perfect location to explore Hanoi
Great location, locker was big. Bed however was small and I am 5'8 (175cm) so if you're tall you wont fit and your legs will have to go under the bars. Also, there was a security issue with our door. When I arrived my last night, my keycard didn't work and I noticed someone left a key in the door, meaning anyone had access to our room and it wasnt secured. We were also woken up after midnight by someone arriving late and having an argument with the employee over how to get inside room.
Lee helped me plan my travels when I got there and I had the best time! Whenever I had quations he was quick to answer and he even helped some friends of mine who didn't stay in the hostel. Couldn't have been better!
Le Phuc was very helpful in booking a trip to ba vi and trip to cat ba. Will definitely book again when i come back to hanoi
Good hostel. Great location if you want to be in the old town (not great if you want to escape the bustle and noise). A good amount of opportunities and events to meet people and socialise, which is good. I find the decor ugly. But the facilities are good. I recommend the 12 bed room over the 10 bed cause I think the storage setup is actually slightly better.
Nice hostel. Room didn’t have much floor space for re-packing but was fine. Free beer for half an hour every evening which was a nice way to meet people and activities in the evening. Good location and lovely staff
Really great hostel in Hanoi! Staff are so friendly, helpful and available 24/7. It’s not a party hostel but I met different people every night so there’s lots of opportunities to socialise. It’s also on a side street so quieter than other hostels nearby
honestly, this hotel has all. Bathrooms were clean and well maintained, daily activities (tours, pub crawls etc) and good staff who are always willing to help. My stay there was wonderful. The location is ideal in the center of hanoi so you're like close to everything. There is just one night we were sitting outside and a guy from the staff told us to go in without any reason which made it awkward. Overall, i really recommend this hostel if you wanna have a great stay in hanoi.
Staff were very helpful, rooms and bathrooms were clean and secure. There’s a large locker that fits a big bag and a smaller one in your bunk. All beds have a reading light and outlet and curtains that go all the way around for privacy. The top bunks have stairs up to them instead of ladders which is great if you’re holding things. On the one occasion a bug got into the room they came up and killed it for us and carried its corpse away. Location is near a few ATMS and right in old quarter. A...
Very new, very clean!! (cleanest Hostel I stayed in Vietnam!). Beds are super comfy and lots of space for your bag and packing. Everything is in walking distance. 100% would recommend. only downside, it was not that social, but the rooftop terrasse is great and you can meet people there for sure!
Not social but v clean and good bed.
Quite good! Nice for a stay in a good area in town, very helpful and friendly staff, clean facilities and good AC. The breakfast itself was also amazing, especially the smoothies! Would come back again.
Best hostel in Vietnam! Nancy and the staff always provides the best service. Location is perfect and the rooms/bathrooms are spotless
Good hostel for stay in Hanoi, the room was comfortable, they offer all trip to ha giang, sapa, halong bay, staff very friendly especially Le Phuc, thank you for everything
